Imo they aren’t breaking any rules that is laid in the GVG but it is ethically not correct.

There should be rules regulating this and if there are non, you cant really blame anyone for questionable behavior. If you want them banned, go complain to your representative and ask for rules.

Sadly, it is part of human nature to take advantage of loopholes. Since this is not a bug and there are no rules for GVG, I would probably do it to. That being said, I am not in a guild and will not join one in the near future. Group of friends >> guilds.
It is up to IMC to regulate this. If they fail to do so, dont blame the players.
Technically yes since they are collaborating to fix stuff up to win event and gain a advantage over players in this case which is TP.

Well since there are no rules against this… So they are not breaking any rules or illegal acts. Just finding a way for a win-win situation. You can do so by collab with other guilds too i guess? Everyday war for full force and stress dont you feel tired? D:
Edit : their way of doing it remind me of playing other MMO (dota 2 CNY event & BNS daily quest to kill each other), which we agree to kill each other from opposite faction to benefit both parties. So I think its ok… since match making is not something you can control who you are going to fight if there are many participants.
Edit2: and even sending ticket to GM or staffs, I dont think they ever deserve ban or whatever because there is no rules regarding it.
When there is monetary given out for tops as incentive. It will turn extremely ugly. It’s as good as cheating lol.
If you read esports articles where players misconduct / match fixing. It’s a permanent ban from E-Sport for years. That means your career on e-sport will leave black mark…
Where as this case is a smaller version of monetary incentive given out.
They should just switch out the monetary incentive to “untradable freebies” or something along that line which does less impact to “fixed winners”
well of course there is there other way which is bar them from getting rewards with warnings.

But too bad this is not Esports… from the game itself also totally different genre which those are all one-go matches. I am not sure but I played many mmo and also mobile games that have guild wars before. To win the strongest guild or whatever it calls, we allies together and work some plan out to win over it. I call it a tactic. As i said, I dont think they deserve any bans or bar from rewards as IMC does not state any rules against it in the first place. Unless IMC give out respond regarding this, only after IMC announce and they doing it i will consider it as a wrong action. But for now, its not.

Allies with other guild to work out to fight out another guild. That is still within sportmanship. Aka i know like back in RO we have a bunch of small allies and we went up to rekt top guilds in WOE with drama and so on but yea you get your aim.
Basically you align them to have a objective yes, and you at least “play out by the rules”. You are still fighting.
End of day you are still listed as a group that fought instead of a walkover.
What’s happening now is a free walk over not once twice but seeing from the thread is multiple times.
As if when you and friend are duking out. Your Friend Enlist a help with another duelist or specialist to Cripple you and walk away with a free win.
This is literally a Bypass.
Or another example you just plant people in their guilds and sow discord and throw out the guild indepts. the end results they get a free win off and it’s free TP/ Money.

Be it e-sport or any thing. This is match fixing. It is literally a bypass to get the end rewards which most say defeating the purpose of the event no?
Anything that can be listed as a Electronic gaming can be actually view in terms of E-Sports, not that it really matters.
Just that the scalar is different this time round.
Then lets hope IMC can fix it by enforcing some rules or change the way it plays in-game or what. Exploit like this i doubt that IMC will do anything though. Too many things that they have to handle. My opinion would be this case is in lower priority compared to others… like balancing and glitches… fps drops… -_- this game has too many flaws need to be fix.
I would hope they did something. Even slow reaction is fine imo. I have high hopes with IMC as they actually did something just that it’s kinda slow.
Like for example those duppers / over refining via crashing etc. Most of the players got a clean ban just after a period of time.
