my reason is because better DPS.
- 1st choice got squire class arrest skill which is good at both PVE and PVP
- 2nd choice is slightly bad, because swordman c2 doesn’t benefit much.
- 3rd choice is good as cataphract c3 really a good DPS choice.
- 4th choice is slightly bad, same answer swordman c2 doesn’t benefit much.
many people think restrain is good, but in actual it is not. even you can use cyclone skill without restrain, it is already enough to kill anyone deadly at PVP (hard to be countered).
Okay then, let’s start with the first one.
- No need to level Bash that high, 3 points are enough for Knockdown, rest put in Concentration.
- No need to max Crown, you need enough Shock and stat decrease from this skill to just pull it off. For Doppel you usually need even less, since he has Zornhau. 3-4 points is enough. For PvP maybe up to 5-6 for the Uptime.
- Probably put more points in Cross Guard, since this is your ONLY defence skill, and it scales really good.
- MAX Skull Swing. It reduces DEF to zero and scales with level (uptime).
- Don’t touch Vertical Slash or just put 1 point in it.
Squire C1 won’t do you any good. Pick Corsair or Swordsman C2 or Pelta C1 for PvE.
- Get Deeds to level 5 at least, this is your only reliable attack buff.
The second is the same as above, albeit you picked up correct skills for Sword in PvP.
Third one is extremely well-crafted, well done.
Fourth is too spread out. Sword C2 is bad unless it’s PvP. Cata really shines only on C3. And Hop C3 also has Spear Throw.
Suggestion - 1 and 3. Pick Corsair instead of Squire for PvP and Pelta for PvE.
