I’m used to playing solo and when I’m in a party, I can’t help but feel like an ass when I inadvertently drag a fellow party member into something they aren’t prepared for.
that and a possible button that makes it so that only the ones that wanna help can join while the others are doing the usual
and ik that feel, since i’m a solo/party player but i’m trying to work on becoming more solo-focused
That’s kinda how a ready button works. It wouldn’t start until everyone clicked “ready”, “not ready” or it timed out for someone automatically making them “not ready” and wouldn’t start at all if everyone was “not ready”.
It’s pretty obvious when you’re going to be fighting a boss…
If you’re referring to the quest dialogue, a lot of people (myself included) don’t really read it. Other than that, I didn’t notice nor could I think of any other sort of indicators that might be in the game.
I Always reads the dialogue but sometimes it’s not so obvious owo
not all the time.
+1 to this thread, there should be a warning sign or atleast a goddess statue or a signboard that you are entering a boss area
I kinda like it when I’m thrown into a boss fight unexpectedly. Not against having a ready button for party purposes though.
I like it to. I would just prefer not dragging my party members into it and have them wonder “WTF JUST HAPPENED” while they were chilling at a bonfire, talking to another NPC, interacting with other players, or something else. At the very least it should pull you into the fight w/o your party members and then alert the rest of the party while giving them the option to participate rather than just abducting them out of thin air when they aren’t even anywhere near the fight location to begin with.
