Player Shop Fee

Do you know guys Player Shop has 30% Fee?
If you want to gift buffs, write it on the shop.

For each buff you use 10 materials.
So there is:

Aspersion
Holy water: 50 silver
Total amount: 500

Blessing
Holy Powder: 20 silver
Total amount: 200

Sacrament
Gyslotis: 35 silver
Total amount: 350

Then you have 30% Fee.
I can understand it’s for competition, but it’s ridiculous xD

Honestly, I want to understand if people know it or not o.o

Most people are definitely aware but don’t really care anymore. We set up shop just to have something we can reliably use for ourselves (no one’s really fighting about it anymore).

My Lv15 Repair Shop sells at 115/Kit.

At 80 Silver at cost, 115 Silver less 30% brings back 80.50 Silver, that’s a profit of 00.50.

Even then I’m not sure if that rounds up or down.

My shop uses no attribute by choice (no 25% chance of +30 over repair) and it still gets sold out of its 20,000 Kits that I leave it with everyday.

I really don’t know other people’s take on this, mine is mostly personal use only unless you share my [OCD Friendly] motto.

I don’t know how work Squire, so I can’t talk to them.
But I think for a Repair shop is more easy to go Sold out instead a Pardoner or Alchemist…
My Alchemist goes sold out 1 (or 2 times if I’m lucky) a week.

I can understand personal/friend use, but why this competition for lost? :disappointed_relieved:

There’s just way too many possible sources of money to even bother with the [passive income] from AFK-shops; which you have to compete with others for, defeating the purpose.

At one point I remember there was a so called “Alchemist Mafia” and there were huge price wars here and there.

Without much fanfare, things eventually died down and nobody cared anymore. Especially when more and more people started having their own Squire3s and Alchemist3s at their behest.

Pardoner shops are in abundance, even more so than the other two, there are some that remained competitive by offering Lv12 Sacrament and Lv17 Blessing.

This isn’t very surprising. To be honest, it’s a non-issue at this stage of the game. Let 'em do what they want~

Pardoners almost never make any profit at all. Even if you manage to put up a shop with good prices that would make you happy, no one would buy them anyway - even if the entire server set new standards.

As said, it’s mostly just the fact that people stop caring. The shop even at best days makes so little profit it’s just a “thing I do”, rather than “I’m going to make profit”.

Don’t make pardoner, squires, alchemists etc. in hopes of making profits. You won’t. The tax makes sure you will never get anything worthwhile.

favorite pardoner shop. lower prices are good, people cant afford to pay 900silver for buff. 500 silver or lower

Pot selling still make money though, if you have access to dilgele farm. However if the NPC pots in kTEST carries over then pot making is dead since the 720 silver potion is 75% more powerful than alch pot.

when I was in klaipeda I usually did the same with my squire and also gifted lots of maints to low level players with no care for my wallet…

Heck as long as it’s cheap I’m down :joy:

and not only Dilgele but Uosis, hence Goddess Ancient garden where all the maps are either hogged by bots or by hook64 users.

A lot of people are just dumb and don’t do their maths.
It’s the same for skills scrolls. Some people undersell their scrolls and lose 100-1000 silvers per scroll. I don’t even want to make a huge profit from them, but at least allow others to enjoy my characters’ skills while not losing money. But nope, you’ll always have idiots who just undersell for no reason.
I think some actually do it just to troll or crash the prices, not because they’re dumb or don’t care anymore (because they only appear when someone else is starting to make a profit, and then crash to the ground the prices).
I just wish they’d do the same IRL so they get broke.

Don’t buy buff then.
Prices are low but who sell it at 500 silver will lost a lot of them.

People can afford them.
When I started the game and there were few pardoner, the prices were very expensive, but I didn’t have any problem.
