Play friend's ToS on own PC?

I have a question to ask, first let me explain a little bit.

My friend and me are playing tos on 2 different pc, with 2 different steam accounts, but sometimes he can’t online to do missions and dungeons, so I’m thinking about if i can login to his steam account on my pc to help training his chara?

If the case above is possible, I am concerned about if i login to his steam account to my pc, my in-game data(character info, lvl, game progression) will be gone or overlay by his in-game data. And If I succeed switching to his account to train his chara, afterward I switch over to my own account, my in-game data will still be there or not?

Basically I just wanted to know our tos client in-game chara data is binded to the steam acc/tos server or local game client.

Thank you.

Your steam/TOS account and his steam/TOS account are completely separate and all character data is saved on the server, not on your own pc.

This means you can freely log in to his Steam account and then play his TOS characters without risking your TOS account character/item/level data. If you wish to play your TOS account again just log off Steam and log in again with your Steam account.

The only thing that might get overwritten, depending how it’s saved (locally on your pc or on the server), is your keyboard shortcuts or your skill shortcut bars, Just try it out. If it gets overwritten it shouldn’t take longer than a few moments to set them up correctly again.

PS: This also means you dont have to worry about your character data if you get a new pc or have to uninstall/reinstall the game. Character is saved on the server, so even if you completely delete your TOS files on your pc your characters won’t be gone.
