Plans regarding the re-balancing of certain skills =/

Consistency is important.

Linker is supposed to basically turn anything into an aoe on linked mobs, and divide/share damage/buffs on party members.

It’s got issues and should be fixed. Physical Link should be a desirable skill and yet its been ■■■■ and people have avoided it.

Polishing all the crap will make for a better game, too bad it seems almost like they’re intentionally ignoring the bad crap about a classes bugs.

Oh no, people arround need a class reset to test stuff.
Toa players are not ready for MMORPGs, cant deal with changes :confused:
I like my linker and i’ll still like it and I KNOW it was broken. We all knew it was, since when a support class is meant to solo the whole game oneshotting everything huehue this game…

first I said the “link-hm-mm” combo IS OP!! Yes it is. And IT needs to be nerfed.
(I dont know about tbl/pvp. I don’t play that.)

  1. it was a gernal statemant on skills. NOT a statemant on “l-hm-mm” combo.
    Link was always unfair in pvp. casting 2 fireballs and link them with players- hagman and all inside was dead… Sure not balanced!

But some skills are JUST fine in pve but imba in tbl. (My boyfriend says Rush is doing like 15sec stun in tbl, but in pve I dont think that skill is SO great)
Just like there are some skills, that are just fine/okay in PvE but are “op” in tbl/pvp.
But please, dont nerf the PvP version because of PvE or vice versa.

The COMBO is what is broken. (because of mechanics, codings, I dont know).
Link alone + Magic Missile don’t kill mobs. Its the Link-Hangman-MM Combo.
And AGAIN: This Combo sure needs adjustment. I can still 1 shot Evac mobs with that combo (238+). I don’t think thats how it should work. @-@ Thats not how any of this should work xD
But it just to great when I can help a Krivis c1 spread his/her Lightning damage to more than 1 target. Same goes for poison.

I just fear, PVE builds get neferd to oblivion, so some people can have “fun” in tbl. Thats why I want them to rebalance skills seperately. They can do it, and it sounds reasonable.
Like Bloodlettings duration is cut down in tbl, but still the whole duration in PvE.

Linkers already had a bad nerf, now more are coming. I just hope they do not force every Linker to reroll (I love the Linker dress D:) I rather hope they are reasonable for EVERY SKILL itself. (and YES NERF the Combo)
if they keep the skills like they are, and JUST nerf the “L-Hm-mm”-Combo I will have NOTHING to whine about.

It’s only been this powerful since we merged repositories with ktos, it was fixed on itos MONTHS ago.

You’ve had it like this for 2-3 weeks and you’re quitting now that they’re reverting it back to the itos fix?

Talk about an over-reaction. Did you make your entire build in just the last few weeks? Were you playing your build before the ktos repository merge?

They already reverted it back to state before merge and gonna nerf more.

These guys built their characters to exploit this OR they cant understand what is written there…

And it Will be even better than it was before, as the additional damage will still apply to the main target, it used to just spread 1 dmg line (even if it was an aoe skill) to every linked mob.

They didnt revert anything, they fixed Magic missle and thats all. They will revert in september. READ!

well imagine party wasting a minute to kill a bunch of 250k hp mobs that give you 0.2%exp each. gl with grinding.

Nah I can still flesh cannon them down. Solo. Link will still work with flesh hoop.

After merge hk lasted for 15 sec on lv10 and mm combo one-shotted every mob.
They reverted it back to 3 seconds, and u have to cast mm twice to kill a bunch of linked mobs.

The original jp, Magic missle couldn’t kill anything, just a complementar nuke.
Hangman knot will still the same because the interaction between mm and 0 aoe defense ratio targets, not the skill itself. (ever played with a Falconer?)

I have 11 characters. Tree of class reset is for casuals. :slight_smile:

not all of us are no-lifers who can continiously reroll their chars. it took 3 months to level my char, and now it’s gonna become garbrage. ofc i’m frustrated.

I’m not sure I understand this right, but doesnt that mean joint penalty will just become again what it was before the merge?

Seriously, anyone who leveled in grinding parties past lvl 210 knows 100k+ hp enemies are obliterated instantly once they get linked. The link how it was before the merge was nowhere near useless, but it also wasn’t an insta-kill against the linked enemies.
