Plague Doctor Or Oracle

Hi all !!

I have a problem …
Soon i have to choose my rank 7 and i’ve done :

Cleric > Priest > Priest > Priest > Pardonner > Pardonner

and now i need ur help :smiley:

I’m for the most part a PvE player maybe some GvG after my grinding so What class can i make ?

Oracle ? Plague Doctor ? or … ?

You already have 2 circles in Pardoner. Go plague doctor and watch your incinerate stay on the enemies forever with discerning evil.

depends on your stats. I would never recommend going full support, you want to have some damaging option.

Yeah I would recommend getting points in incinerate so you can provide damage to the group.

5 healing factor, 5 incinerate, 5 bloodletting is pretty standard. You can get 1-2 less points in bloodletting if you want fumigate but you shouldn’t need it if bloodletting is always up.

You could craft oracle skills as well going oracle, that is na unusual class

Oosyhaoo I can tell you what oracle does for pardoner 2

I am Cleric - Priest - Priest - Priest - Pardoner - Pardoner - Oracle. Just like you I was sweating between oracle and PD, but for different reasons which I don’t think you have seen yet.

Oracle scrolls so far via pardoner that I know are: Arcane Energy, Clairvoyance and I believe forecast should be possible (forecast I don’t have yet so no guarantee)

The spellshop doesn’t take any skills except aspersion/Blessing/sacrament anyway.

Having Oracle as pardoner (or lets call it full support) won’t do you much good. You can earn a bit more money, you have forecast and its 5% nullification. Primarily though it is for hunting rarer goods and that so far didn’t work out too well for me. But with the attribute maxed (costs several millions of course which we have as rich pardoners :D) it would mean you have 1x shiny mob every ~30 minutes.

You can change x2 per minute which is 5% chance. As far as knowledge goes the mob can be white flashing or golden flashing but I have not even spawned one yet (will push all my silver into attribute after reset for more testing)

However if you go plaguedoctor for the love of god please test the following mechanics so it becomes known to the general population: You might end up with one of the stronger classes nobody knew about.

  1. You need at least 5 points in Discerning Evil to start testing stuff
  2. At least 1 point in Pandemic

Mechanic to test:

  1. Aggro 2 mobs and stun one of them via autoattack of cleric. Use discerning Evil quickly to make that stun go from 2 seconds to 10 (or even more if more points in DE) seconds. Now press pandemic to see if the second mob also becomes stunned for 10 seconds.
    –Why test this? Because if you can spread via pandemic that means you could literally stun whole packs of mobs easily for a duration long enough that they basically die.

You can of course also test with other debuffs like frozen from elemental mages etc. Pandemic needs a lot of testing so you definitely should put a point in that just to find out.

  1. Check if you can spread Exorcise via Pandemic of course also with DE.

  2. Check if you can have 2x exorcise on a single mob. For this you need divine might and a monster gem for discerning evil unless you have pardoner 3, but with Discerning Evil 12 you can have exorcise ready again while the first one is still running. So if you can have 2 (or more) exorcises up that means you can dish out more and more damage on worldbosses because you stack it on worldbosses and with pandemic you might even be able to stack it 2 times… 3 times… 10 times…
