Plague Doc, Kabbalist, or C2/C3?

Hello fellow Cleric enthusiasts!:blush:
First of all, this is my first Topic, so I’m sorry for any foolish questions or english mistakes. I hope we can discuss as clearly as possible.

About Plague Doctor

For all I know,
:point_right::point_right::point_right::point_right: it’s a Rank 7 Cleric Class.
:point_right::point_right::point_right::point_right: its skills are (Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sErvbC3UNio)

0 / 5
Healing Factor (Creates a mark on the ground which grants regeneration to the one who steps over it, every damage will be recovered to the amount of Hp you had when you stepped over it.)

0 / 5
Incineration (Int based Fire type spell. Burns targets affected by debuff effects. Doesn’t have casting time. Area Damage. Damage increases based on the NUMBER of Status Ailments on targets.)

0 / 5
Bloodletting (Causes Bleeding Status on ALLIES, making them invulnerable to Status Ailments under Rank 2. Probably a party buff.)

0 / 5
Fumigate (Spray of smoke which cures you and your allies of Status Ailments under Rank 3. Probably works like Priest’s skill Aspersion.)

0 / 5
Pandemic (Spread all Status Ailments on enemies to other enemies within range. Don’t know if it applies for any Ailment Rank.)

0 / 5
Beak Mask (Wear the Beak Mask which prevents Status Ailments under Rank 2 from enemies. Effect applies on Plague Doctor only.)

:point_right::point_right::point_right::point_right: Works around Status Ailments, except for Healing Factor.
So probably Krivis (because of Aukuras and Zalciai for area buffs/debuffs);

Bokor (because of Hexing);

and Pardoner (because of Discerning Evil and, of course, $croll money making)

would be the best considerable build choices in my opinion. I’m really excited about Plague Doctor. Here’s a build of mine

And here’s another one I thought of during the discussion below

About Kabbalist

:point_right::point_right::point_right::point_right: It’s also a Rank 7 Cleric class
:point_right::point_right::point_right::point_right: It’s skills are

0 / 5
Revenged Sevenfold (Don’t know SQUAT about this one, but it’s colored red as a offensive skill. Can be this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIPZf3dcYvc, so there’s a chance of it being a Reflect Damage skill)

0 / 5
Ein Sof (Don’t know NOTHING at all about this one, but it’s colored green as a supportive skill.)

0 / 5
Merkaba (An offensive skill, either Fire or Holy type, summons wheels with wings that roll towards it’s target, causing damage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pBxCrUsd7E)

0 / 5
Gematria (Switches the monster’s name for a number. But I have no idea of what it’s real effects or combo possibilities are. It’s colored green as a supportive skill.)

0 / 5
Notarikon (Don’t even know the color of this one.)

0 / 5
Reduce Level (Probably reduces target monter’s level. It’s also colored green as a supportive skill.)

:point_right::point_right::point_right::point_right: As you may have realised, I don’t know nothing much about this one, so I won’t even risk a build here.

And Finally about C2/C3

Is it better to stay with our good old Rank 5/Rank6 Classes? Is it better to improve their skills? On OBT updates (Source: https://www.reddit.com/r/treeofsavior/comments/3vxevh/skill_changes_for_rank_5_classes/), Monk, Oracle and Druid suffered changes on their skill trees.
:point_right::point_right::point_right::point_right: Monk had Golden Bell Shiled moved to C3, what wasn’t much of a downer, since it’s still an OP offensive Cleric class.
:point_right::point_right::point_right::point_right: Oracle had Death Sentence moved to C2, what left Oracle C1 out of any offensive skills. But didn’t change much for “Full Support” Oracles.
:point_right::point_right::point_right::point_right: And finally, Druid had Sterea Trofh and Chortasmata moved to C2, what some said that left Druid C1 limited to Shape Shifting, something that really concerned Druid adepts.

Conclusion
I’m divided between Full Support Oracle C2 and Debuff Based Plague Doctor C1 and I’d love to discuss with you guys about possible builds and other “Cleric Related” subjects, until we wait for new information on Plague Doctor and Kabbalist.
I hope you could understand this topic, and have a wonderful day. :grin:

Plague Doctor yesterday, Plague Doctor today and Plague Doctor tomorrow!! :heart:

I’ll make a supportive Plague Doctor following this path below:
Cleric > Krivis > Priest C3 > (?)

I don’t care about getting all the possible debuffs to increase the duration of Incineration, that’s why I chose Priest C3: Max buffs to help my friend (Dragoon).

Hi there! :grinning: Thank you for your comment!
In my opinion, for Support Based Plague Doctors I think
:point_right: Cleric C2 > Dievdirby > Priest C3 > Plague Doctor
or
:point_right: Cleric C3 > Priest C3 > Plague Doctor would be better, since you won’t focus on Incineration.
Then you could invest on Healing Factor, Blood Letting, Fumigate and maybe Beak Mask to prevent Ailment Status on your friends, while increasing their Hp Recovery. What do you think??

Wow this is awesome! Thank you very much for this! :smile:

I picked up Krivis because:

:arrow_forward: Priest C3 = Monstrance, Blessing, Sacrament, Stone Skin and Revive (5 Buffs)

  • Daino = 10 (5 + 5 bonus)

5 buffs and I have 5 more possible buffs to use.

:arrow_forward: Plague Doctor = Bloodletting, Healing Factor and Beak Mask (+ 3 Buffs)

IF I go Pardoner or Oracle (Rank 6) = Increase Magic Defense/Arcane Energy (+1 Buff)

9 buffs and I have 1 more possible buff to use

I like this build because I can offer the best for my friend. (I plan to play mostly of the times with him!)
I just don’t want to focus on getting all the debuffs to benefit Incineration.

Going
cleric, krivis 2, bokor 3, plague doctor
or maybe
cleric 2, krivis 2, bokor 2, plague doctor

Aiming to make my enemies have a bad time in GvG content :slight_smile:

Oh, I see… That’s a really interesting build! Daino really is a game changer, huh? I’ll seriously consider following that! :laughing:

I still haven’t figured how to play properly with Bokor, but I’m really interested in this Class! Do you happen to know if the Zombies Summoned by Bokor need to come from a previously dead monster/player, or if they just pop out of nowhere? And if Zombies imply Status Ailments on the enemies they attack? Thank you for your comment! :relaxed:

First you use “Zombify” on the ground and then kill a monster inside it’s area to create a Zombie! (idk how it works in pvp)
Zombies do not imply status ailments on the enemies. (I’m pretty sure that they don’t!)

I see, thank you! :smile: I think I won’t use Bokor then, since it’s more of a Offensive Class it won’t work that well with my idea of Plague Doctor.

Zombies come from enemies killed inside your Zombify area. I’m not sure if killed players generates zombies . And zombies don’t spread status, but Zombify itself is a status ailments. Allied with Hexing, Bokor c1 gets two status to burn with Incineration!

Zombies are really fun at PvE, specially with Bwa Kayiman, but don’t add much to GvG. So i’ll focus on Mackangdal for damage imunity and Hexing and Eggify for status ailments and dps.

Oh so Zombify is a Ailment that applies to every player on the area, even if there’s no dead players in there? That does sound pretty good, actually

Zombify isn’t an Ailment. It is a green area on the ground that turn monsters into zombies! (You have to kill the monsters inside the green area)

I see, so it wouldn’t count for Incineration, huh?

No…
But hey, Hexing is pretty nice if you want to spread ailments with Pandemic!
Imagine yourself with Pandemic + Hexing + Effigy. Too OP imo. But Effigy consumes a lot of SP…

Yeah, it sounds promising! Wait… can Effigy control PLAYERS?? :no_mouth:

Ayn Sof has interesting attribute that halves its maxhp% buff but also restores SP by that amount.
For example: you have 15k hp, normally Ayn Sof will increase it by 20% to 18k. With attribute it will increase maxHP to 16.5k but also restore you 1500 SP. Sorcerers will worship this skill/attribute.

No no… Effigy is an offensive skill that only can be used if you throw Hexing on a mob/player first!
You can spam Effigy until the effect of Hexing is active!

I was assuming Zombify is an ailmentis, because monsters inside that area receive a zombify icon and have a visual effect over their bodies. Will be nice to test Incineration over this
