how many reports will it take to flag -you-, while you’re sitting afk in town, so me and my friends can sneak up and murder you?
suddenly, 500 bots enter the map you’re on… and everyone!! is turning red and the bots are swarming all over them to collect that silver.
…uh oh, there were more bots waiting at the respawn point to collect more silver from you…
… do you people not even spend 5 seconds thinking of ways to abuse these “solutions” of yours before spewing out whatever random drivel pops into your head?

If the game could tell who was a bot and who wasn’t a bot they would be banned already not set to allow people to pk them which would just cause more lag do to everyone trying to kill them and spamming their skills within town.

If it possible to flag the bot to get killed
Then when the bot die make them mute and stay dead for the whole day if you wrongly flag as bot and get killed then send the support ticket answer some popup question capcha maybe
And who said you gonna need a reward killing bot i think the satisfaction of killing is enough for people to hunt them

bot bombs work for mabinogi
if you want it to not be abused on afk players then make an afk button for them to click on that makes them immune to bot bombs but also turns off there chat and ability to use any skills , they are afk they wont need those
or we can do my personal fave , the luna online approach, where they put level 200 mobs in the low level areas that are super slow and giant (easy to notice) walking monsters that can 1 shot people ( so slow that the only way they would kill you is if your a bot standing in the same place for a long period of time)
i will wait private servers with open world pvp
You should be aware, that if bot reports flag a pvp target this will happen:
Botnetwork flags everything NOT belonging to them and instakill every non-bot, maybe except for when you are paying the bots to not be killed…
Still abusable and worst because now support will spend time reading every support ticket to unban every player wrongly flagged, even if it dont require support to check it and only an automated page of support site, the player wrongly flagged its still losing time while he do that and while the ban its lifted.

sadly they did already this with the grim reaper mob that appeared in zones where bots were farming like in novaha, sadly i havent heard about this grim reaper keep respawning. which its a shame

besides, i’ve seen lots of people (myself included) get called white knights just because we say things like “do you even read the reasons why they’re doing this? they -have- reasons, you just don’t like them.”

The don’t need a anti bot system, just pay attention on reports and tickets and use the ban hammer. A couple of days ago i sent a ticket with this video asking them to ban those bots and the answer was disgusting. So the only logical conclusion is, lets use bot too, they won’t do anything.
What was the answer?
- Why are you there if not for mithril?
- Why do you assume everyone runs around with chat enabled?
- But most importanly: why dont you use an anvil bait to show a bot?
