Ping meter on the server screen

Hey guys,

Don’t you think it would be a good idea to add a ping counter to the side of each server? On the server selection screen that is.
So we know which one is best for each of us?

That would make our lives a lot easier, and it would also allow for people to see if the servers are having issues.

I think this is a great idea. It shouldn’t be too hard for them to implement and only good can come from it.

Up, I want one too… also an FPS counter too

There was an FPS counter in iCBT2, I am not sure if that was just for debugging during the Beta or if it was a planned feature.

(random screen off the internet - FPS shown in bottom left)

I am aware that there are many ways to actually monitor that sort of activity.
I just think a simple monitor by the side of the servers, and server-sided would be a lot easier, especially since it does not require anything else on our part.

Back in icbt you could check your ping with //ping command…could be cool to have a key command on your keyboard to show the ping in the screen otherwise create a macro in a custom button in the keyboard/mouse to auto type the command(like I did)

Yes, but that was already ingame, when you already logged in.
The server screen doesn’t have anything that allows us to check the ping.

I’m from the Philippines, tried pinging East Coast, Virginia Server [Founder’s Server Host] and that’s what I’ve got. I’m kinda losing hope can someone cheer me up?

+1 for Ping/Latency meter on screen.

-1 please remove FPS counter via a toggle.
