Ping 260 ~ 300, is there a viable archer build recommended? Or stick to wizard?

I just tested pinging 54.88.25.242 and got around 280 ms ping.

I read that high ping is horrible for archers because certain attacks such as auto attacks or low cool down spammable skills work terribly in this condition. The only few in-meta archer builds are the QS3 builds now which relies on fast attacks and works well only in low latency. Fletcher also requires low latency :frowning:

Is there any good archer build with this latency, if there isn’t i felt my only option left here is to play a wizard which works decent in high latency too.

makes life easier on high ping

archer will just frustrate you.

I have 321 ms ping and i want to play a dps class.

If you have high ping , I wound not recommend you to play “any” dps class squishy or not.

play wiz, anything involving spamming and fast movement will get you killed at higher levels or just piss you off with high ping

wiz is not as easy to play as cleric though since you dont have heals

Is the pingtest accurate? I’m from SEA region and I’m getting 2ms pings to US East server

so what should i play tank? i can’t play healers as they are shitty and suck.

I can play a tank though as i enjoy playing them after dps classes.

This is why they need an SEA server -,-

I was played Sapper on icbt2 with400 ping, didn’t have any problem at all.(Except boss fight…)

Just don’t pick any class that rely on spamming non-cooldowns skill or Auto attack.

Your reasonable choice is Squire or Monk

Squire is more useful for party in the long run

Monk is more dps than squire but with high-ping sometimes you stuck in animation when casting a buff (you can’t attack or use any skills when that happens)

It seems it’s bugged. Yeah, try another programm to measure your real ping.

Scout is very weak now. Only C3 skill is good.

Archer3Wugushi3Cannoneer is much better choice. Lots of AoE, and skills with at least 5 second CD.

Probably should’ve replied in 1 post, this forum really needs automerging system.

monk has skills that do a ■■■■ ton of damage, im gonna be a sadhu which has auto attacks for a lot of damage

your healers are gonna love you in their parties lol
like i said no spammers and fast movement, you could go with pelt and finish it with hoplite and dragoon

basically just become a taunting brick wall for your party, but dont diss your healers your gonna need them lol.

Healers are actually great in ToS and deal lots of damage in some builds)

Tank will work well with any build.

Wiz is great DPS class and not very ping related. I think wiz3elem3 will do.

I would recommended picking up both Sapper and Wugushi.

Both of those have skills where you set them down and you can walk away while DoTs do the work.

Archer is still very hard to play on high ping. Though 280 ping is lower than the 400+ I was playing on while on kToS so you’ll have an easier time.

Thanks for the info, 93ms ping from SEA so should be playable
