Hm… I’m not sure what the pied piper is doing in that video. Looks like a gimmicky class though. Can someone explain to me what this class is about?
OMG no!! Why command them to explode!! And here I was hoping this would be the other pet class that WORKS (like falconer).
Ikr , Archers don’t have a single support class that works. They are either not support ( wugushi , appraiser ) or are super gimmick ( hunter , Scout and now pied pipper ). I can’t see this one working either.
I think archers are basically a DPS class and should have that identity going for them. Not saying they shouldn’t have support roles but those roles should bring support + damage to the group like how falconner is an excelent example of what an archer support should look like.
Pied Piper seems really good for pvp/gvg, stun, sleep, disability, dance, all cc, some aoe.
Its just me, or this mouse skill is lackluster? I seems both class will take a rework pretty soon x.x
If they had the same functionality as auto sonic strike I would take it. Or at least have them atk (other than explode) when you play a song.
In all the videos I see about this class, the gameplay is a real mess.
In his skill kit, very few of them seem really useful. The 1st spell that stun for 3 seconds and the 2nd spell that sleeps for 10 seconds (but waking up when you attack) mostly look like emergencies skills, not really exploitable in groups. His channeled skills (the 3rd which makes them follow and the 5th which makes them dance) seem to be the only ones really useful for crowd control. But the problem is that they are REALLY too short. There is only his 6th spell (allows the whole group to resist a fixed number of kock down) for which I have nothing to say …
I have trouble to imagine this class as a party support (and even less solo). I have the impression that the only purpose of his skill kit is to spam them to create as many rats as possible to blow them up with the 4th skill …
For the moment, I am quite disappointed by what I see …
