Physical Link - Completely Pointless?

Physical Link, Linker C1 skill, makes absolutely no sense.

In theory, the skill should divide the damage among party members. But right now, it’s multiplicating the damage to the party members.

How it should be:
Mob hits you 1k dmg without physical link.
With 3 players linked, damage should be divided to 333 damage for each player.

How it is:
Mob hits you 1k dmg without physical link.
With 3 players linked, damage to each player is 1k. Sometimes more, like 3k for each player.

This skill is completely useless as it is (unless you want to kill your party members). Nobody uses it and I wonder why nobody talks about the bug.

Keep trying mate, we’ve been saying this since after icbt when it got broken.
One year and still nothing.

Really sad to hear it’s a bug from all the way back to beta.

I wonder why the betas even existed. I reported a bunch of bugs from the latest closed beta myself and most (except one) didn’t get fixed or even looked at.

I also heard that the damage you are “sharing” with your party members also damages their equipment, as if they were hit themselves, resulting in equipment getting broken even faster than without link. I never tested this myself, though, since i immediately stopped using that skill after i found out that the damage is not split but copied to your party members, just like you said.

Yeah more like this. We tested it on low level mobs with 2 players and when someone got hit by 1 the other one lost 2 hp.

been complaining about this since founders man. I’ve been yelled at for using spiritual chain because it looks like PL bahahah and was very tempted to cast it for real to kill the guy.

It’s so bad that people just don’t even bother talking about it anymore, hence why it’s more or less ignored.

I think this was changed a while ago, now your equipment damages over time regardless the damage you receive. Your armor will break even if you don’t receive hits at all.

Real use for it is to kill players who don’t listen to the team. Such as leechers who do nothing during dungeon or mission runs.

They can fix and buff it like the ultimate mitigate damage 15 links with 5 people.
