Monk/paladin/inqui are mostly physical
While the rest is mostly magical
or support
Or champlain that is based on is auto attack + proprity damage.
ah ok, im currently playing a priest (going chaplain)
i got to choose between a silly looking hat with 120 phys and 48holy atk, or a cool looking hat with 120 magic attack (and 36sp regen, 4aoe def, but i dunno if thats any help)
120 matk will add more dmg to your auto attacks once you have aspergillum, and the 120 matk also works for your magic skills. (heal/cure/exorcise/ME)
Just use the phys + holy till you get to that point.

Huh? Aspergillum only applies to your basic attacks, same as last rites and sacrament. Blessing however will trigger off of skills.

Aspergilium isn’t a additional damage line like Enchant fire/Sacrament.
It a spell that apply on your auto attack, doing magic damage scaling with your MATK. (Also your SPR if i’m not wrong)
If you play a chaplain.(Edit Fix Champlain To Chaplain)
-You whant SPR (Because blessing mostly scale with it and apply on all damage line .(Sacrement/LastRite/Normal attack/Aspergilium etc…)
-PATK will apply on your Base attack -VS- MATK will apply to you magic spell (Aspergilium/heal/cure in that case)
-Additional propriety attack spell like (Sacrement/LastRite) will be stronger with Any type of bonus propriety attack (Like Arde dagger bonus for example) Those bonus will also be added to your other hit (Normal attack/Aspergilium)
Aspersion spr dmg scaling got removed, but it does scale with matk and you can get plenty from a hammer or rod with a high enchant/trans.
And spr chaplain is but one of the options.
