Pet Stuck and Did Not Move?

Hello,

I just noticed, my pet sometime stuck at same position and did not move. I need to re-login to fix it. Any idea how to avoid pet getting stuck?

That’s just a normal bug that’s existed since beta. Nothing special.

One of the reasons you pretty much never see people playing Hunter.

hmm, glad i pick SR since I’m always on my pet. But when I’m on my alt healer, its bugging me. I just turn it off.

My first character was a Hunter back when the game came out. It was very frustrating. He’s (respec’d into) a SR now too.

It’s been harder to dismount/remount with my cataphract and sapper SR after patch.

i give up for w8 at fix on this one so i had to use an addon

You can call it to your location by typing /comeon. I just put it on my macros as a band aid solution.

You can “unlock” the pet from its freeze by feeding it.
If you don’t want to feed it all day lock the food -> open the pet ring menu and feed it this way (you can’t do it by clicking the food directly cause you will get a locked error). No item will be consumed but it triggers the animation which unfreeze it till it bugs again.

EDIT: I played hunter/musk for several months, turning off auto attack, having a /comeone macro and the feeding technique were mandatory to make the class playable…
It also seems to be somewhat more responsible in mouse mode - the only downside is if you don’t target your enemy for half a second while ordering the Hunter Attack it will missfire no matter what.

The addon (mountergood) ceased to work since last patch, sadly.

Another one bites the dust.

Relogging temporarily fixes this but then returns randomly. Apparently, it went on a date with the new winter pengu.

I have a hunter 3- falconer 3, before the update of Feb 20 even half the conbinacion worked (sometimes) now is WORSE !!! If I activate the Preventive can break the Falcon and the Pet at the same time or only the Pet, or only the Falcon (I know, the Hunter has several times bad, but has good things that can still be taken advantage of) in short. … I hope that some day, year or century can compose this
