Can someone please tell me if this is a bug, or am i missing something?
i’m playing with controller and found out thanks to a nice player that L1+L2+UP mounts you up quickly, but 9/10 times when i auto attack while mounted the AI just stops dead in its tracks. I can still mount it, but it will never move from its spot again until i relog or change maps. even re-summoning keeps him idle.

ugh this is so annoying, you better of not using the mount at all at this point lol. thankfully there is a mod that despawns/respawns the pet for you automatically every 6 seconds. this doesn’t fix anything but atleast you can mount your broken pet.
I learned today that this is a permanent bug since beta n only way to fix is with 1 point in Hunter “Pointing” to reset AI. I didn’t take that skill so gotta wait till reset for pet to be useful, if possible. Or u can relog but that’s annoying since it happens often.
