Honestly just buy whichever based on looks. The stats are very small between the two. And since you can raise stats with silver it won’t matter in the end. Even as a hunter the separation between the two is small. I know the 400k pet has more HP but it’s not enough imo to make a big difference. Plus The Hog is ugly af xD

Not really.
Vel has more HP and it is slightly better for mounted classes, Hog is better for hunters due to higher crit.
Hoglan may be better for a igh DEX mounted character because it will give more evasion.

Ah so it was the other way around. Either way I don’t see these stats becoming a problem later on. They are very minor in the end since pets are kinda useless, Even as a hunter.
