Personal Feedback

Hi, so I’d like to give my own feed back now.

I don’t feel like I need to play much more of this game to get any more of a grasp at what it is, than what I know already now.

So for the first day I played for about 22 hours, and got to level 40, the 2nd day I played for about 14 hours and got to level 59. I did not play today because I had other things to do.

I’ll keep this short and sweet.

Graphics & Aesthetics:

Beautiful, vibrant colours, love the music, and not over the top gear in keeping with the theme, don’t change a thing.

Combat:

More options for hotkey selections required (unless i missed something), tighter controls, like pressing shift to click through minions as to not mess up with the mouse action. Cool downs are on the slightly high side, auto attacks are a bit too important, and slows down the pace of the game a little.

The exp required to level as stated by many is far too high, I’m grinding at 40 what I’d expect at 100, or higher. I’ve almost completed the 10,000 monster kills at lvl 59, and a friend of mine did so at level 46. Boss monsters for the most part, aren’t actually boss monsters. More like just MvP mobs which take a while longer, the few which I do think are real “boss” type monsters, are pretty awesome though. The music change and the new sets of skills is very fun to fight. My only gripe is the amount the of damage it takes to kill them. However i have been running most the game in a 2-3 man group, rather than the full 5.

Also please remove the auto attack cancelling bunny hop animations.

Stats/Attributes/Skills:

Stats seem to make very little difference, which is kind of disappointing, I was expecting it to be more rewarding, but the game is what it is. I don’t know what it’s like to be 250 will full stats, however it feels like levels are more useful for the skill points, new equipment to be used and the closer to a monsters level, the less level difference defence it seems to have.

Attributes are a fun idea, and I like it alot. Skills are great however cool downs are too high, and i think wizard mana consumption might need to be fiddled with.

Quests:

Interesting, and varied, I’m perfectly satisfied with them, quite a few optional quests to take, and not so obvious as to have a “!” over the top of all the NPC’s head, which I like. You are required to find the quests. The rewards for quests could be slightly improved, at the moment the feel more like a nice change of pace from grinding rather than worth while rewards (apart from the equipment).

Maps:

Love em, nice and large with a lot of room to explore, with variety and in-keeping with the “tree” theme.

Town NPCs:

I use practically all of them, no real complaints.

Overall:-

Most of my complaints if I were to list them all here would be bugs, which have been reported by others or myself (such as AI bugging out sometimes, or MvPs turning invincible for too long).

If I had to rate the game as it were right now, I’d probably give it a 6, simply because of the amount of effort required to level is too damn high, and I just don’t see many people willing to put up with that for 250 levels. Having stunning visuals and music, wonderfully well made quests and monster designs don’t mean anything if no one feels like levelling is worth the time or effort and the stat point boosts don’t actually seem to be doing very much. That being said, if it were fixed, to still be difficult, but not sadistic, then I’d rate the game currently as a 8.5-9/10 (Yes it would jump that much for me personally, a good PvP and GvG would make it perfect).

This is just my opinion on the game.

That was a good feedback my friend

Nice feedback only things I don’t like are the lack of sidequests and exp rates.

Yea, I agree, but I considered this to be the first beta test, so it would be a little lack luster. I’d prefer it if there were most Towns to visit and more side quests in general. However if you talk to all the NPCs on various maps, and even previous ones which you’ve been to, new quests unlock after certain levels, they just dont tell you, you kind of just have to find them. But more quests would be a welcome feature. (Side quests).

Nice feedback:

Rather than all the complaining I’ve seen on the forums, this is what I’d prefer to read. Informative and constructive! Well done!
