i dont have any slot available but in my server there is an event that give away penguin marine egg.
what is the benefits of that penguin?
auto mount?
2 weapon 2 armor slot?
only eat TP food?
exclusive. just keep it in egg form if u dnt hve slot imo

AFAIK the best pet is rocksodon because it has 2 slot for weapon and 2 slot for armor and it can eat nonTP food.

Yes, sounds stupid but I left my penguin with 0 hunger and they still follow me and attacks.
Especially if you are a hacka or any mountable class, it doesn’t show any difference
Although I am not sure if it’s bug or because of it. Sometimes If I ride a penguin and get attacked(non mountable class), it will dismount and won’t follow you anymore
P.S. I could be wrong though so feel free to correct if someone know better
P.S 2: No penguins were abused in this case.
P.S 3: I can confirm that penguin still follow you. Have you ever tried to not give any food to your hawk? They still follow you and can use hawk skills
yep, hawk is invincible (for now), no need feed it anything.
So it is just a blue reskinned old penguin?
Yes. It has 4 slots also. 2 weapon and 2 armor. Its like Leaf penguin, but with blue color.

if pet doesnt have any effect from starving then this free penguin is as good as rocksodon?
Havent tried Rocksodon tho. But sometimes even in full HP/stamina, my pet is bugging and just stopping until you mount it. I think like any other pet, it increase your HP pool when you mount unlike battlebird and penguin with def and recovery bonus.
You can find the Penguin food for silver too at the Companion Trader NPC, but it’s pricey and it gives 15 stamina only, you’re better off using the one with TP if you really want to.
Also, the only reason to feed the pets for stamina, it is to get a portion of their stats while you’re mounted on them (25%HP/10%P.DEF/8%Evasion) but that only works for mounted ranks (only Schwarzreiters, Cataphracts, Hakkapells, Lancers, currently) for everyone else you would auto-dismount when you use any ability, so you don’t really benefit from those stats.

So unless you are one of those ranks, you don’t need to feed your pet at all (Hunters may benefinit from feeding their pet too, because with Stamina your ground pet moves/attack faster, but with current AI bugs it doesn’t really mater).
tl:dr the only benefit of this blue penguin for any non-mounting class is better movement speed, right?
