i’m not sure what skills I should set into my peltasta for rank 1, after I get another class advancement I’m going into hoplite
So what your goal? DPS, Support, Tanky or etc.
There a lot builds you can search in this forum, and you might find what build that you like
If you want to play as a tanky fighter for Velcoper raid or other areas you might want to go Pelt2 or even Pelt3 in your build, just so you know.
In non-murmillo builds peltasta is normally picked for the utility, so skill set should be fairly obvious. Most importantly, max out Swash Buckling and Guardian, the rest doesn’t matter as much. Peltasta damage skills aren’t the best, but they have bonus aggro applied to them which is nice.
