Hi everyone,
I wanted to ask any staff member (@STAFF_Amy @STAFF_Yuri @STAFF_Ines @STAFF_Letitia) if they could ask a question regarding the skill Langort to the dev team.
I know that Murmillo isn’t in any bad spot at the moment (I would even say it is a bit over the top) and doesn’t need any help right now BUT:
Langort is a Circle 3 Peltasta skill dealing Mediocre (at best) base damages. It has no Overheat (OH), a longer CD compared to other Peltasta skills and DOESN’T have any bonus Aoe Ratio making it outright an overpowered/useless option.
If we compare it to an other available option: the animation is even slower than Synchro Thrusting (that is already considered a slow skill). They both have to be used in the same time window, ie during a monster attack, to use their maximum potential. However it deals less damage when used properly, even without taking into account Cassis Crista attribute, and also lack the OH despise sharing the same Cd.
Speaking of attributes, Langort attribute is a really good idea but it isn’t working on boss that is supposed to be the target of this skills (no aoe ratio). It could, for example, be a small cancel on boss like Headbutt does. It could help to gives party utilities to the skill.
Langort isn’t linked to Murmillo despise being a shield attack related skill.
If we compare Peltasta to Rodelero, even if one is supposed to be the tanking class and the other one a more DPS oriented one, all the Cassis Crista attributes are performing better for the latter than the former. In fact the multiplier is the same for the two classes but for the Rodel, it is applied on higher base skill ratios skills.
Rodelero Cassis Crista attribute also upgrades 5 skills against only 4 for the Peltasta’s one. Langort could also be upgraded by the multi-hit attribute, hey it is a multi-hit skill too.
Rodelero got better utility skills in general (block missile with Shield charge, block magic with Slithering, CC with Montano) making it also a better tanking option (Defensive buff skills from Peltasta aren’t great to be honest).
It is sad because it could reward people going in the C3 Peltasta, sacrificing some damages for more party utility. It could also create a really good gaming experience by giving to the player an active gameplay where you have to use your skills in the right timing to perform well (Umbo blow after a block, Langort to cancel a dangerous skill for your party…)
