Bug Description :

Hello Palom,

We suggest going thru the Developer’s Blog for RE:Build FAQ to see the details on the changes on Classes and Skills. Please click the link below to get there faster;

IIRC aggro is now a characteristic (“threat” or something) that determines who gets the aggro. You can spam Peltasta skills all you want, if the aggro stat of your party mates is higher, they will get targeted instead.

Peltasta have a atribute that double its threat and swordman have an atribute called provoke, and Rodelero also got an attribute to deal damage with its skills using the shield’s def.
Also, I’m the only swordman on the party.

Would be nearly impossible to lose the threat in that way.

I read there that they reduced the threat level of Peltasta, however, as it is possible that with an orange practonium shield +7 I can’t keep the aggro? My friends have orange practonium weapons +8/+11 with level 4 trascendence at max. They are a plague doctor and a a psychokino.

Yes, I have provoke atribute, the double threat atribute for peltasta and the “deal damage using rodelero skills with the shield’s def”. In that situation you should not be able to lose the aggro of the enemy boss, but the boss never turned to see me.

I’m the only swordman on the party.

Someone in your party is overriding your threat value with a skill such as capote or blinks looming attribute.

I’m the only swordman on the party. I’m not sure if a friend is using Blink, but the main focus of threat were the plague doctor.

now peltasta is born to tank, but that class seem invisible in party cant hold aggo anymore haha. Bye TOS see you in late 2019. im back to my beloved PUBG

Inquisitor also has a judgment attribute that makes enemies target them, so if the plague doctor in your party has Inquisitor as well in their build, they’re pulling aggro away from you. Oracles foretell has a similar aggro mechanic behind it.

You also need to distinguish between pulling monsters via aggroing and keeping the aggro. If someone deals massive amounts of dmg, the aggro will switch. That’s why it’s important to kill monsters fast and co-ordinate your party in case of bossing, so they don’t take aggro away from you via skills / attributes.

He’s playing Exorcist, plague doctor, Sadhu. I think he wins threat just using its skills, but even the Kino can win the aggro when he stops. I know that normalizing the damage in an organized way can help keep the aggro in the tank, I can understand that another player can steal the aggro during the fight and I’ll need to recover it or tell him not to throw skills at that moment, but it is absurd that the Boss never turns to see me, from the first moment it just ignore me xD.

I’ll make more tests today with a different weapon (which should not influence because I’m supposed to do damage with skills using the shield’s defense with the weapon’s atk, because of the attribute). I hope the problem is that. Anything I will report if it worked or didn’t work in this thread.

Update, with a better weapon I can keep the aggro in a better way (what make no sense since I suppose to deal damage with the shield’s def), However I still feel like is hard to keep the thread on my peltasta.

Is better for now, but something is still feeling like a bug.

Not a bug it’s just how horrible some of the mechanics are in game. No clear way of knowing how much aggro you are generating.
