Well Pelt c1 is a very solid class tbh. You get swashbuckling which is great to lure things to you, you get guardian which increases your defense and evasion, and you also get 25% block with the shield, and also ability to block.
So choose it if you want to use shield full-time with your build. I don’t find it to be worth at all if you’re ONLY going to switch to shield for the taunt…that’s just a waste.
There aren’t that many DPS builds that can use shield to its full potential. Cata-goon is one, can’t really think of too many others. And even with cata/goon you still lose some perks when you’re using the shield. So using the shield always comes with some offensive drawbacks.
I’m actually not really sure about how epee stance works with fencer. If you can still block with epee stance active.
