I think imc will take at least the token system for iobt. Becoz they need money. They can’t just sell cosmetic. PoE and LOL succeeded to do that. But PoE and LoL are not asian developpers. Then they could do that.
I dont know asian game who sell only cosmetic in their shopgame. I think its not in their culture to sell only cosmetic in their game. That’s why i think imc will never sell ONLY cosmetic in Tos.
Guys prepare yourself to have a p2w game in iobt of Tree of Savior.
TERA is korean and only sells cosmetics (and you can even farm fashion coupons ingame if you have no social life, or buy those cosmetics on the “auction house” from other players with ingame gold)
I don’t know whicht tera u play but tera us is p2w: they sell regen hp mp mount, craft scroll, loot box, keys to open high lvl box,
The shop sell lots of scroll to crafting or enchanting . To have max chance of succes enchanting…
You can too find a lvl 60 scroll !! U clik on it and Hop! You are lvl 60 with all your skill available.
No, tera don’t sell only cosmetic…
It’s not P2W the moment you can achieve everything with ingame currency (gold).

We can say same with the token system. If u have silvers, u can have all u want. But for me, what i call p2w is
If a premium player sell tokens and gain lots of money, they can easily become very more powerfull then a freemium player.
And generally, premium player or seller tokens, are too powerfull and they ruin the game, ruin the pvp becoz they surely will have all their stuff +15. They pay to win all things, all feature and pvp too.they pay 2 win, they pay to ruin the game. That’ s it. For me this is what i call p2w. And Tos follow the same way if token system is hold for iobt.
if all icoin shop items will be tradable - all will be ok. everybody can have all icoin advantages. just spend some time for farming silver.
but if there will be untradable 100$ sword with OP stats - it will be p2w.
