Life is pay to win, it is understandable that people do not want their escape to be the same.
Sadly money holds the reigns and as time progresses the financial stress will overtake good intent.
But also understand Time= Money, so even if a game becomes pay to win don’t frett. McDonalds will be paying $15/hour soon.
“I spent 300 hours not afk speeding to 280 and rerolled because I am Hardcore.”
What your average adult will hear:
“I had 300 hours to dedicate to a game, for 0 real world progress and want to feel special.”
Hell if I want to not have fun I could dedicate a tenth of that time to working and make enough money to purchase over 30 Console titles or a 10+ crazy nights out at the club with my wife. or a nice vacation/ cruise
Shrug perhaps the masochist in me is malnourished, but then he likes it that way.
but I digress, I do have fun with this game, but it sure isn’t going to become a third Job for me, because that defeats the point.
