Hey guys, Path of Exile is a sort of similar game, and they do a really cool thing with end-game. They have maps! You use a map, and it ports you to a zone with special properties (loot, exp, etc) it is a very cool end-game for an action RPG.
For anyone else that has played PoE, do you think maps would be a good idea in ToS?
isnt this basicly what mercenary missions are?
Honestly, I just came from PoE to this game. (The one month flashback league was f’n awesome) But I have no idea how you think this and that game are alike. Honestly though, it would make a great addition to endgame content for any MMORPG, but at the same time that’s copying another publisher’s ideas so obviously that’s not good. 
However I think every MMORPG should have some sort of randomization for endgame contents though, it keeps you from getting bored of doing the same thing over and over again. I’d purpose doing something more original of their own however it seems the support for this game is incredibly low, at least for the English version.
They’re both linear to the spine, that’s how they’re alike.
Why do you want this game to copy the other?
Because is a good content and if not unbalancing the game is a good add for it.
Yes, there are maps in ToS, they are called higher level maps.
The mapping system is probably the worse part of PoE and the only reason why GGG added maps is because they don’t have a solid endgame content after level 70 ish.
Where as ToS already have a lot of maps for higher lvl grinding.
Although i don’t think PoE is similar to TOS in anyway, i agree that the map feature is great and TOS could implement something similar if they don’t have plans for that already, when i saw the awakening dungeons from alchemist i instantly remembered PoE maps so maybe they could make awakening a big deal.
PoE and ToS are similar in a few ways.
But they do have many differences.
Maps could be nice, but instead of maps, ToS can do something similar and add maps to their dungeons. Be interesting
