Can someone help me? After the 170801 patch, my ToS can’t seem to work.
How long has it been running?
Try reinstalling it.
Here’s the fix:
go to your tos folder, patch, then copy the latest patch number of the file
Go to your tos folder, look for patchrelease.txt file, open it, delete the number and paste the one you copied
I’m about to sleep so ask if you have questions but that should do the trick mate

I can’t seem to find patchrelease.txt file. Where can I look for it?
Sorry, here’s the right file name:
Step 1: Go to Steam > steamapps > common > TreeofSavior > Patch > then find the HIGHEST/LATEST number of file. Copy this
Step 2: Go to Steam > steamapps > common > TreeofSavior > release > release.revision.txt > Replace what’s inside with what you copied, replacing the old one.
Okay now I’m sure that’s the fix 
Solutions I tried:
- Verify integrity of game files (always 3 files)
- Re-download all patch
Still not working 
Apparently, it still won’t open 
Edit: I tried turning my anti-virus/firewall off, and it opened! THANK YOU
