Partying is a pain - Let us filter parties by location / Make parties public by default

Having a huge list of parties for the entire channel isn’t helpful. I only want to see parties in the vicinity.
Also, it’s frustrating that nearby parties show up on the left, but I can’t click on the prompts to request an invite.

Finally, parties aren’t set to public by default, and you can’t really tell unless you mess with the party options in a separate tab.

I bet most people don’t even realize their parties are closed. They should be public by default, not private.

It’s pretty easy to make your party public all you do is check a box. Some players may not notice it though. We do need better filtering options. Perhaps it would be a good idea to include a low level party dungeon in the tutorial section to teach players how to create public parties and whatnot.

no? if i want some rando to join, i’ll set it up myself or invite him, no one should expect to be allowed to join.
i’ve had people demand to be invited and assaulting me verbally for saying “no”, ■■■■ those people

it’s only hard because it was CBT for a month. <— meaning as a normal beta tester the first thing that comes in your mind if to create a DPS that can solo for the whole month so that you test everything without hinder of “having a hard time”.

did my explanation make sense? they are not here to make friend or something. they are to test it… and experience the game, they have planed ahead more than you… they expect that partying will hinder all their plan for the month so people made DPS. if you knew you are making some kind of class that can not do solo you should have plan ahead and find a friend in real life to play with you all the way for month.
