Hello, i hope i am not posting in the wrong place and i also hope someone can answer my question…
let’s pretend a monster has 10% drop chance of an item X
if i am in a party with another person, that means in total we got 10% chanse to drop the item of each player…which would mean in a party of 2 people we got 20% chance in total of someone dropping…
or regardless of how many people there is in a party it will always be 10% in total with the loot going to someone following the party settings (round robin, or individual, or random)
in a nutshell my question is, if i want to farm the item for me, with 4 friends in a party, and they are willing to give me the items they drop, would it increase the chance of dropping the item in general? or the drop rate would stay the same even in a party with 5 people?
