Pardoner, Squire and Alchemist

I was thinking about making additional AFK money class with my friend. So far i know 3 of them, which are pardoner, squire and alchemist. We’d like to choose 2 of them, one for each other. All topics i’ve found was too old for today, decided to make new one to have fresh info

I’ve read that Squire is not that worth to do. Is it true or not?

Pardoner seems OK cos there are so much of them everywhere. But what about Daino buff? Is that a thing and can it be sold in a buff shop? Haven’t seen a single one yet.

No idea about Alchemist. I’ve seen only one, and it seems it removes negative effects from gems, is it worth?

Thanks for help in advance!

with a pardoner you can make Daino and barrier scrolls, wich is nice but with that build you cant sell buff, so you either choose one or the other

Why i actually can’t do both? don’t really understand
Pardoner have spell shop regardless and i can get krivis later. Or i’m missing something?

you can only make and sell Daino scrolls if you are already have a krivis circle and learned Daino, same goes for the barrier scroll which is a paladinC3 skill.

for me, the best “afk seller toon” is Squire.

don’t know for pardonner, but you don’t pick Alchemist for the afk shop because you won’t earn much money from it. but you can craft potion and sell it to the market (or use it for yourself, which is nice).

Squire is more usefull, if you let your toon close to a dungeon, you can earn a lot of money

You can probably find a few Daino scrolls on the market, and you can in theory make money from it except if you have a troll crashing down prices.
Skills scrolls cannot be sold in shops. Only 3 Priest buffs (Blessing, Aspersion, Sacrament) can be sold in the buff shop.

Usually shops in town don’t make that much money because of the competition, there are too many shops and some undersell.
If you put your shops (buff or repair) outside a dungeon you can make more profit though. There won’t be a lot of other shops around so people won’t care as much paying a little bit more.

Note that any AFK shops won’t make you insanely rich, it’s not a lot of money, and you’ll have to regularly restock them with items (you need them to sell the buffs or to repair) so it’s not all just chill.

As other users says in other posts.

Pardoner: We don’t even make them to profit, we make them to have something for us to use and sometimes leaves the shop somewhere to help people. The profit is too small to make a great difference. I just leave mine on Earth Tower so we can rebuff faster and I help a lot of people who want to do ET runs.

Squire: I don’t actually know the values but Lv.15 repairs is sold on Klaipeda (server) on Fedimian Ch1 (town) for 115-125 ~ 140s which is pretty much low profit. Weapon maintenance is the most lucrative one but as well filled with low cost shops. I don’t really use my Squire as shop but I think most of them opens the shop mostly for their own usage.

Alchemist: Gem Roasting isn’t really profitable. Potion making is hard (need to farm materials) and prices are always a fight + time to craft plus new combat changes would make them more profitable but there will be good potions on NPC at low~medium price so don’t hope high profits unless you spend a good time making potions and farming required materials.

In general, although these classes are meant to be shops for profit it’s something mostly done current for our own usage, convenience or small profit.

I strongly recommend leveling a character to farm something else (such as lv.315 materials to sell, a scout 3 for d170 etc) than an AFK shop, unless you really want to have one.

Some of these classes does have good alternative usages such as Squire Base camp (warp+food) as well open repair shops while grinding. Pardoner can open shop anywhere you need it, especially if farming DPK materials for more than one hour or grinding. Alchemist can be useful for awakening gears and briquetting (changing weapon skin) as well for making potions for yourself (if there’s none on market) and Magnum Opus to make materials from other materials which in some cases is profitable (but on most of them it’s useless).

For me it was great leveling the Squire and the Pardoner, I can setup the base camp wherever place I want and put the Pardoner there for 3 hours buffs. If you’re really going to level two AFK shops I recommend this, not for profit but for great convenience.

For Alchemist, the real money is in selling SP potions on the market. Gem Roasting is just a side job. Get some Cataphract and Shwarzer Reiter buddies to farm Uosis for you, and you can pump out major silver.

necro is best afk class

I wouldn’t advise it, even the GMs are getting annoyed with that practice. Also I think more Oracles are stepping up and killing farmers.

Plus Grim Reapers and upcoming combat changes with Elite (strong) monsters will make it prolly close to impossible to do that.
