Pardoner: Spell Shop - Attributes affect Spells?

Hello;

First, I understand Spells made via Simony are affected by the person who buys and uses them (their stats/attributes) and NOT the Pardoners stats. So Questions:

  1. Simony’s Spells are just the “basic” spells, Pardoner’s stats and attributes do not affect them?
  2. Simony’s Spells are just the normal duration of the spell correct? No extended duration are applied to these spells.

Spell Shop: (Only Blessing/Sacrament/Aspersion)
These are my main questions which I can not find answers to. It seems like the Spells bought through the Spell Shop DOES apply the attributes of the Pardoner to the spell? I see Pardoners selling spells saying “Maxed Attributes”…

  1. I see some shops having Blessing lvl16, with “Additional Damage +94”. How is this possible? Blessing at lvl16 should have +74 Damage… Where is the other 20dmg coming from? Are they using the “Blessing: Enhance” attribute (being at lvl10 then), if that does apply, why don’t they do it to lvl50 (max) (+100 additional damage for a total of +170)? Why does +94 appear in the scrolls description, is this just a bug?
  2. The Duration I am told goes to near 1h for these scrolls with the Pardoner’s attribute. Which attribute is this, is it the “Spell Shop: Duration” one (it has an unclear description). If it is this, the description says it’s only +5m per attribute level and it’s an attribute lvl max of 5… (so +25min)… how is blessing duration going to 1h?
  3. What are the durations of the 3 spells (Blessing/Sacrament/Aspersion) with maxed “duration” attribute when bought from a Pardoners Spell Shop?
  4. When one of these 3 spells are bought, then cast. Does the casters INT/SPR/Attributes affect these bought spells (like with Simony Spells)? Or does the Pardoner who made them INT/SPR/Attribute’s are recorded into the spell? I thinking they should work like Simony Spells… but seeing that +94 attack in the blessing description is really throwing me off…
  5. So my point is… if u are a Priest, with maxed "Blessing: Enhanced (+100 Additional Damage Attribute), and you buy one of these Pardoner Spells, which say +94 dmg… then with ur attribute, will the spell do +194 dmg?
  6. To make the spell with Spell Shop, you need 10 of the item required by the spell. If you buy the spell, do you still need the Holy Water/Powder/ect to cast the spell as well? or is just the spell from the Pardoner’s Shop enough?

For Simony scrolls:

  1. Pardoner’s stats and attributes DO NOT affect them they are affected by the caster attributes as far as I know
  2. Exactly, no extended duration

For the Spell Shop:
1)Probably someone messing around, or visual bug dunno really, if you have blessing at lvl16 with max attribute it should be +174
2 & 3)You forgot the duration from the actual skill Spell Shop so Spell Shop at lvl 5 is +35min and with the attribute at max lvl an other +25 min with a total of +65min, plus the inicial duration of the skill so I believe is as follows:
Blessing: 1 hour, 5 min and 45 sec or the 150 hits
Sacrament: 1 hour, 11 min and 40 sec
Aspersion: 1 hour and 7 min
4) None of those skills take in account stats, only the pardoner’s attributes
5) I think what happen is some has their attributes leveled only to give +94 damage. The number you see in the skill tool tip is the one taking in account the attribute level and the base damage.
6) No, the one that has to have the materials is the pardoner you only pay and enjoy the buffs ;D

Ah you are right. I have my attribute level for blessing at 10 (+20 dmg)… and when I view the scrolls in the shop it’s adding my attribute level to the damage I see for a total of +94dmg… thanks that solves it.

So then… there seems to be no real point in maxing Aspersion and Sacrament as a Priest (unless you are a Chaplain). With people selling those scrolls for 900s, and them lasting 1h… it’s more efficient to buy them from the Pardoner’s shop and cast them for 1h (900silver), then casting them 10x-20x times during the hunt and using the holy water/powder/ect for them (which be around 500-800s or more anyway in cost of mats).

As for Priest, you would still max the Attributes of those 3 skills and benefit with those. The only iffy one is Blessing, because of the 180 hit limit (with the attribute)… since people may hit the 180 hit limit well before the 1h mark, you would have to cast it many times. Casting it every min for (20silver) is probably more efficient than casting it every 5m for (900silver for the Scroll)… Still you could keep it lvl 3 (needed for the attribute) and buy the scroll. Use the scroll for the start of the hunt (+170dmg), and just ur level 3 blessing (with the +100dmg attribute for +123dmg&60hits every 45s) during the hunt when it runs out… That would be a lot of extra Skill points to put into other stuff for Class 3 Priest stuff. Again you would still be Class 3 Priest for the Attributes (plus revive and suchs).

Ah nevermind. The spell you buy from the Spell Shop does not go into ur inventory, they only apply the buff directly when you buy them. So a Priest with those spells is still useful to cast them during the hunt when they run out… or people would have to warp back to town and re-buff every hour, which may be possible too.
