Pardoner question for r8

Hello, I’m currently stucked as to what class i should take for r8 on my pardoner alt. She’s currently level 200+ something something right now (i forgot). And yes, I’m leveling her normally and doing quest here and there everyday whenever i have time. My plans for her was c1>p3>pardoner2>c2>? I really feel like having a cleric 2 is a must, simply because whenever i do dungeon runs for her, the heal tiles as a cleric 1 feels really lackluster. and also divinuuu mightuuuu (i have a pd2 main btw)

I’m not so sure if I should go pd1 (i really really love healing factor. I’m so dependent to it on my main) but having only circle 1 for it? Is it worth it? The bds-pandemic-incinerate combo for pd2 is fun and having only circle 1 plaguedoc, idk…

I’m also not sure if i should go chaplain? or if it is a good idea. I still have 5pts left for my priest3 because of the uncertainty of going for chaplain in the end (so i can put those 3/5pts to exorcism, if ever.)

What are your thoughts or suggestions?

• Oracle for bot-hunting fun stuff?
• go cleric 3? but isn’t that overkill already…
• I have no idea about the rest of the r7/8 class feelsbadman

I don’t think PD1 for HF is worth as it was before imo, it took a nerf on healing speed so it’s slower now.

Oracle is fine, if you get the attribute for change (expensive as hell) you increase your chances of summoning treasure mobs (those gold, silver, blue and red ones). Also, Counter Spell and Prophesy are good skills.

You can also go the default(?) route and get Inquisitor.

Pard 3 is not worth tbh, Decatose was a deception when I tested it.

Lesser choices:

• Krivis - but taking a class just for 1 skill is sad.
• Bokor - soon™ it will be changed, as the zombies already take Blessing, not sure if the new changes (far in the future) will allow them to take Sacrament also, if yes, then it’s a potential build.
• Paladin - but since you are an BA (basic attack) build, I doubt taking that would do anything good.
• Druid - Not even worth at C1, unless you want to use transform for some mob buffs, but still, not worth imo.
• Miko - I don’t think it have a good synergy with BA builds also you can only get that as female char, can provide good support in group tho.

In the end, your best bet is either Inquisitor or Oracle.

My only issue with inquisitor is the cost of wheel per cast which is 1k, i believe. Although people told me that it’ll get lower someday. I still have long way to go anyway. Also, how expensive is that oracle thing attribute? (estimate of the price is ok)

regarding krivis, you’re referring to daino skill scroll right? idk much about skill scrolls and simony but upon checking the scrolls in the market and the cost of the scroll to make the skill which is 200, there seem to be not much of a profit from it? especially if you’re selling it via market which has a 10% tax for token user and 30% for non. Correct me if im wrong though.

that zombie class is a no go for me i think… muh fps
but we’ll see. I’ll probably gather some info about the classes for the mean time and probably ask some suggestions from people here and there. (and also stalk all those 330 pardoners in town with their build hueheuhue)

Oracle seems good. You get arcane energy which you can turn to scroll to sell for some profit.

Yes, Oracle seems to be good.

However, if there’ll be no new 3-circle classes on R9, then you will have the same dilemma later. PD (at least C2) is a debuff-heavy class which benefits most from Discerning Evil and Pardoner C2 has lv10~12 DE. PD C1 also has Bloodletting, Pandemic, Healing factor (which is still a lifesaver), but it relies on party debuffs for Incinerate.

Also, Chaplain. Its biggest price is a mandatory Cleric C3, which you have anyway.
