Pardoner ICBT2: Mechanics of the skills & attributes

Is this really a buff?
I suppose if this is cast on a summon, and they can last longer than their duration, then it makes sense, but I am not sure I would throw it on an ally.

According to the ToSbase & the video, it is a buff.

As for the summon, no it would not extend the duration. Mackangdal just makes the ally invulnerable, but will receive all the accumulated damage at the end. If a summon has limiting factors like Time duration or Sp drain, Mackangdal won’t help with any of that because it only stops it from dying until one of the limiting factors comes into play. Sort of like 30m+ Blessing, it will disappear if you reached the hit count limit (even if there is still 20m+ duration left).

The reason you want to use mackangdal on a human ally is because you can have that ally run into a safety zone to block the accumulated damage as the duration is about to run out (or at least that what i hear).

Plus it doesn’t matter for pardoners anyway because you can’t make a scroll or use it in spell shop.

What I mean is, the summon becomes invulnerable throughout their duration if Mackangdal last longer than the summon. You know what I mean?

Regardless, it has nothing to do with Pardoners, I am not a Pardoner (only my alt will be one).
