Why is it that there’s a 50% tax on all pardoner spellshop items?
That, added to the x10 item costs, means, for example:
-Aspersio requires 10 holy water @50s a pop = 500silver.
If i were to be rich and didn’t want to earn money, i would have to put my buff at 1k (500 taken by the tax). Now question, how many people are going to buy a buff (no matter how long) for 1k?
Now when we add the personal benefit we pardoners deserve (for reaching that painful R6 with full support characters) it means that for every 100 silver we earn, the user has to pay 100 more.
So if i wanted to earn 500 silver per transaction (pretty decent amount, neither very high or very low) , it means that i would have to price my aspersio at 2k a pop (2000 - 1000(Tax) -500(Mats)) = 500.
How isn’t this addressed ASAP? I’m guessing other classes like alchemists and squires also have this problem, but pardoner’s even worse since ive already seen some people setting limit prices
(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limit_price) aka mat-priced buffs
And only a handful of these people can ruin the pardoner’s uniqueness (the buff selling) for every one in the server. What’s the point of playing a character that’s supposed to make money, when you can’t actually make it!?
