I just have a question regarding the pandemic skill of the Plague Doctor. It says in the description that it spreads all status ailments on targeted enemies to other enemies. How come bleed from palm strike and armor break cant be spread? I haven’t tested yet or seen any evidence but im guessing the hp/sp drain from one inch punch wont be spread with pandemic as well? Aren’t these status ailments also?
It’s SP drain. Your guess is correct. My friend tested it and it didn’t work.
Hmmm so no synergy for Monk to go PD? Which do you think is better though C3 monk or PD?

Same reason why Bloodsucking skill from Featherfoot doesn’t give you back HP in PVP.
Because it would be too OP and game breaking.I thought about the idea of SP drain and bleeds spreading on PVP would be cool.However,I did some thinking and the fact that it doesn’t work made me very happy because it would really break the game.
Yeah but that’s the point, it can easily be countered as well if the opposing team has a PD and activated bloodletting those status ailments wont even do a thing. I just thought that this could be a solution to the AOE DPS problem of a monk. I can’t really find anymore reason to play a monk late game.
Monk class needs some serious reworking, because it’s such a waste of time to get there only to find out you won’t do much endgame. No party would ever want a monk for ET.
LOL so you want to play something that is broken and the fact you can’t do it you got no reason to play monk late game -_-.A lot of stuff can be countered yet they balance aka nerf things like for example freeze duration.Another example, they had to balance Bloodletting and Healing Factor in Ktos for battle league.So even if the spread work,people will complain and then it would eventually remove it.The freeze can be countered yet it was balance and Bloodletting/Beak Mask can be countered by Psycokino’s CC and yet it got balanced…so… you see now.
For your information in Ktos a monk was in ET and went to floor 10.Moreover,I knew that if Pandemic can’t spread dots that people like you will fall on their knees and not know what to do next.I predicted this spread may not work and find my way to make my Monk PD work perfectly.Your a player that just want the OP build and show it off to people how you can sp drain 5 people at once and feel big…LMAO.As long it stays the same way you may have to find another way around it,like I did or quit Monk and reroll something easier for you and that’s consider the “META”.
To briefly recap everything,just because something in TOS can be countered doesn’t mean it’s balance.
I warn you though patches buff and nerf things,so wtv build you pick may be the worst today but the best next week.

It is inconsistent and misleading though, someone should clarify what it spread and doesn’t spread cos right now it’s really inconsistent
the description says: “spread ALL status ailmets” … so.,… bleeding, armor break, etc. should also apply…
I dont see why you can spread “freeze”, “hexing”, “sleep” but not “armor break” and “bleeding”
Your argument about spreading bleeding being OP is invalid because Bokor’s after spreading hexing they just spam effigy hitting all targets… and hexing lasts even longer than bleeding…
besides, plague doctor’s bloodletting counters all those “status ailments” anyway… so… yea… we need a staff confirmation on this
Hats off to you then sir for making it work, I did not make this post to complain that monk cc should be spreadable by pandemic I am simply asking why they cant be. The skills descriptions are way too vague, that can lead other people to making assumptions and get broken hearted when they get there.
Which do you think would be better then, monk PD or monk c3? I am currently monk c2 nearing R7 and I cant decide. I am Cleric>Priest3>Monk2 btw, your opinion would be much appreciated.
