Was wondering how good of an increase the Restoration buff is from pally for a support build or isnt it worth the circle. Also not sure what the best circle 7 would be for this but Chaplain seemed fitting i guess not sure how their skills work/interact

Typically you go C1-P3-Chaplain. Then do what you like or you are stuck without being able to do quests properly on your own.
No it is not worth a circle as the only skill you would be using there is restoration and probably resist elements (smite at end game is utterly sh-it if you don’t have conviction and a wizard friend with max att lethargy).
If you plan on going chaplain that class should be prioritized not saved for last.
The most common chaplain build atm is:
C1 cleric > C3 Priest > C1 Chap > C2 Cleric > C1 PD
PS: Going chaplain automatically makes you go from support to semi support dps.
