PalaInquisitor vs Druid3 for casual farm

TL;DR What’s the best solo melee silver/item farming cleric build?

So, I am coming back after a long time without playing (not that much actually, maybe a month) and I was thinking of a build along the way.

First, I always wanted to make a character to make Silver. Fast answer would be to make the most efficient build that finishes fast any dungeon and create a system where you have either a Pardoner, Squirer or Alchemist AFKselling and putting their products on the market. That would be the most efficient system I think.

But I don’t want that, I want to make silver while having fun and without having to worry about my HP and SP or my Rapier breaking or whatever.

So, altogether, I need a class that can survive without having to buy or get a million potions, can solo farm and doesn’t need anything else.

For that matter, I concluded that the best class tree is of the cleric, because is the only class with any sustain on HP and SP whatsoever.

As a I really love melee classes, I aimed at a DievPalaInqui build for some time. But A friend of mine said that Druids can do a better job on this field, however, I know nothing of Druids besides the fact that they can turn into cute furries.

So, considering that, does Druid will achieve what I want? Or does PalaInqui is better anyway? You can also gimme other suggestions of builds, just keep in mind the elements: cheap self sustain, sufficient damage both individual and AOE, melee and fun.

You may open 1 shop MAX.
It is possible to close a shop => open other shop. But you cannot have 2 shops or more than 2 shops open.

Oh, didn’t know that, going to correct it then, thx.

For your vendor, I highly suggest a squire3. You can use it to port alts anywhere (mostly anywhere) like bringing a lv1 alt to fedimian or something.

Palinqui’s are “generally” for burst. I say "generally because of the CD’s. I find that having CD’s isn’t really good for farming because you are spending more time waiting on CD’s than killing.

Druids are sustained damage (a lot of it too). At 0 invested STR and a 5hammer you can do 12k white damage while in werewolf form. The catch is it drains 2% max SP per sec and that there is expensive to keep up with pots (which is pretty much what you don’t want). Now you could do the budget druid if you take monk1 at rank 5 and take a small/medium beast for 100% eva/110 atk and 50% crit.

What you can do is mix them if you are willing to let go of pala3. x-x-x-x-monk1-druid2-inqui (monqui for short :slight_smile:). Go cleric2-priest2 for those early ranks and you can stack up a huge amount of crit.

Thx for the reply.

I never said how my build was completely, so I’m going to add it here just to make things complete.

It is a DEX focused Cleric2>Diev>Paladin3>Plague>Inquisitor.

Also, the only reason I’m taking 3 circles of Paladin is that he has an AOE that hits 2 times with a bonus 50%patk hit with the passive.

What I could really do is take only one circle of Paladin, filling with monk and druid like you said. In that case I would take out one rank of Priest which is fine.

What do you think?

You can keep pala3 for a ponqui (lol the names) build. It will be cleric2-priest1-paladin3-monk1-inquisitor1.

Changes
Deiv -> priest
You only really get use out of [laima]. Even then since this is a farming build you will likely not even use [laima] at all. In the modes where [laima] is relevant (any bossing situation: dg, missions, wb) there is just too much knock back going on.

Priest will at least fit your “burst nature” with [monstrance] at the start of each cycle. I believe you get more millage out of that than [laima].

Plague -> monk
PD does almost nothing for you without the usual classes that go with it (bokor for example). You won’t be doing much damage with it either on a DEX build.

I was under the impression you were going palinqui was for [conviction] doubling [god smash] damage.

Actually that is also a reason, but I was not sure because I don’t know exactly how conviction works yet. But if you say it works like that, then the more reason.

Well, the Diev was for the tools like Teleport and such, also the knife skill which is DEX efficient as well.

But yeah, priest is also fitting. If not more.

Cleric bots from the beginning of time have been: Cleric1,Priest3,Chaplain1…

I already have a ChaplainMiko, it is my occasional Touhouvania cosplay =D
