According to this video it increases healing by a certain percentage. Is it still the case ?
If I recall correctly Restoration doubles the bonus you get from INT, regardless of skill level.
Not sure if it affects SPR now too since heal depends on SPR aswell now.
this about int value, is the first time i have seen/heard, as someone who always had a str paladin (0 int besides the int given by equips) the Restoration always gave me extra healing based on my hp regeneration , 1,5-2,5 value of the base regeneration , this always have happen with my 0 int pala so i doubt we are talking here about extra healing based on int value, since it works for 0 int paladin as well.
But i never went a did any tests like above, so i won’t say that int does not affect this hidden synergy but i’m sure that int alone is not in the works there, because it work for 0 int paladin, and the value of 399 base regen from him, would be in the mix of the extra healing given in the heal.
i must also say that similar effect have being said to me by my friends as well, so i do not really think int doing anything.
edit: just loged in on my pala, and is still working like that, with 8 int, my healing goes up from 990-1k to 1550+ each, just by using restoration, with base 336 hp regen.
if int was giving a extra healing based on restoration, it should have gone up to only 80,because the base extra regen is 26-39 so we can conclude that int alone at least is not the one pushing the extra heal, but it can affect of course but i never heard of it besides now.
Ops is 5 int.
edit2:strange there was a long time i did not played with my pala, now i entered a 260 with a krivis and the extra healing seems to be not working well with aukurass, sometimes is not working the extra value, gonna do some tests and edit this later.
I dont thin k it is affected by HP recovery stat at all…
Restoration has 2 effects AFAIK in regards to healing increase… The percentile value which you are experiencing… and another one which increase based on our INT stat. This can be proven and someone tested it long ago… Resto lv 1 and Resto lvl 15 gave the same increase to healing. I doubt after the rework it’s any different.
Due to various answers I decided to do the test myself.
The results were that it is very likely boosting int bonus, my full STR paladin couldn’t get much healing bonus out of it and the benefit decreased with lower int. I couldn’t test level scaling because currently Divine Might seems to be lowering the level of used skills instead of increasing it.
Restoration bonus to heal doesn’t depend on Restoration’s skill level. Nor on your HP Regen stat.
I’ve tested it before and lv 1 Resto and lv 15 gives exactly same bonus.
Divine Might isn’t lowering the level of your skills, I don’t know how you came to that conclusion. On your video you can see heals of around ~1.4k without divine might and then it becomes ~1.5k with divine might (without restoration on both). You have to remember Divine Might also increases your Heal skill level, making it heal for more regardless of Restoration.
Your tests are also very unreliable because you are trying to compare the INT bonus flipping an equipment (Zemyna Necklace) that also gives CON. Remember Heal is also based off your maximum HP so by having more CON you get healed for more.
