Thats a really nice research o: , Ty
Yes i also agree that Turn-undead and conversion is long run its pretty useless trash staying at paladin and its actually a filler skill there for less usage then usefulā¦
A single smite skill with a small amount of buffs can turn paladin like a garbage if compare to other classesā¦
Hope that IMC can feedback up which can tweak paladin not be so boring class as physical build already 2 onlyā¦
Thank you for info. that useful
Iām pretty sure Restorationās rank has no effect on the increased healing amount. Iām level 80~, have about 5k hp, no points in INT.
Heal without Restoration: 600~700
Heal wtih Resto Level 1: 1000~1100
These arenāt empirical tests, just what Iāve noticed. Other people have said those numbers are higher than what theyāre saying, so Iāll do some actual testing later. My build is SPR based.
Also, Turn Undead is fantastic? At level 1 it can hit up to 10 mobs every 70 seconds, with a 30-50% auto kill chance. Thatās a very significant amount of damage. 20% chance of spell negation? Sounds nice to me. Donāt have it yet, but thatās quite a bit. And this whole thing about Smite being easy to interrupt: Get better timing? And if thereās a swarm of mobs use Safety Zone? Its damage is definitely very limited against non-demon non-devil non-plate enemies, but like. Thatās okay. Thatās definitely not the majority of enemies.
Conversion seems pretty garbage admittedly. But I really like The Paladin kit for the most part.
Increasing the level of Restoration does not increase the bonus healing and if it does it is so minor that you canāt justify the extra points.
I have tested it before I used a skill reset potion and there was no difference other than about a 100 heal difference which could just be the natural healing range.
Gonna agree with this on TU especially useful on large elite mob pulls with demons and mutants.
If they decide to buff it would be great if the base damage on the skill was increased so it has some value as a nuke vs. Non mutant or undead.
I would rather they can change one of paladin P1 or P2 skills TU/conversion into a AOE dot circle that using holy damages (Similar fire mage hellfire)
Demon/mutant kind take more damage on itā¦
Although we paladin is in the cleric side but natural they are holy knight which is consider as fighter as well with healing abilityā¦
Restoration can be tweak into DOT heal instead to add-on small amount of heal into healing tilesā¦
Actually, it might be cool if it did the same damage, but applied an attack reduction debuff on enemies? Either flat+SPR scaling or a %.
Last time I just got paladin c3. I think conviction is good but not viable for some skill because It have decrease resistance fire, ice, lightning, poison only.
IMO conviction should little buff for decrease resistance and long debuff for combo with wizard in team.
My idea
new conviction
decrease all resistance : fire, ice, lighting, poison, earth, holy and dark
debuff duration : 10-20 sec that enough.
For Smite
IMO this time enough for about dmg but I need new attribute for viable paladin support play.
My idea
Attribute : Smite : Holy Strike
Smite calculate with INT and change to magic type.
If smite have this attribute smite viable combo with resist elements and conviction.
SMITE IDEA
Reverberating Smite:
Attribute lvl 10: 1% per level
Upon killing an enemy with Smite there is a XX% (above) chance to trigger an Regenerating Heal (maybe 250hp scaled with INT:SPR) ever 2 seconds. The trigger chance is doubled when killing a Devil or Mutant type enemy. This effect is applied to all party members in range.
Add an internal cooldown so itās not OP when solo.
wow I love you idea. XD
