Paladin Turn Undead:Conversion. Is it considered as a summon?

Since the stat spr increases summon dmg, i was considering building full spr paladin with the hopes that the converted monsters would have an increased damage because of high spr. but does it though? and which is better to increase sumon dmg, full str or full spr?

and about kagura and sanctuary… does it affect the summons?

In Turn Undead’s case, STR is what increase the converted mob stats, but the skill itself depend on SPR to trigger more often.

Unless IMC did it again and didn’t fixed the Tool tip for the skill.

I have a Pally SPR build and I find the damage lacking on the mob I convert tbh, so maybe it is true, then again, I would need some STR gear to make a test for it.

Keep in mind I haven’t rechecked this info since the r9 release, so it may not be fully accurate anymore.

Statwise:

  • Str does add 50% of it’s patk to mobs atk, regardless of their atk type.
  • Spr acts as a regular +0.3% dmg per point after the def calculations.
  • I have no idea if their defenses and hp are affected by spr though.

That being said I cannot recommend a tu minion build for these reasons:

  • Converted mobs do not give exp or drops at all.
  • Their dmg and attack speed are really low even with high spr investments, zombies and owls far outperform them. (Though some posses a few decent skills, which they’ll rarely use ofc…)
  • They’re not that good defensively either, though they do agro quite well.
  • They die after 10 minutes, which makes the old zooracle build variants highly impractical. (You could use change to get ideal mob types, but that takes a fair amount of time.)
  • Special mobs are either immune or have a 75%+ increased probability of resisting TU, making it effectively worthless in dungeons.

If you want to use tu minions after that, try combining it with bokor3 and let the zombies do most of the hard work imo. That or diev3/miko but that’s harder to fit in.

Or drop 1 from pally or Diev to fit Miko, but in all honesty, I don’t find miko that attractive for this kind of build.

Not sure if Kaguya Dance is affecting minions now, it wasn’t before.

SPR increases the SFR and HP stats of an entity upon its creation.

Since these are simply converted (faction change to law), I personally consider it unlikely that SPR has any effect on them.
