Casting the skill while it’s already on you doesn’t refresh the timer. Once the Duration of this skill expires, casting it again will not place the buff on you until you relog or change zones. Quest cutscenes within the zone also remove the buff from you.
This has been bugged since Restoration has been reworked.
I guess the problem with it is that before both duration and CD were 1 minutes, once they changed duration to 5 mins I guess they forgot to correct a “switch” on the skill itself therefore it can’t overwrite itself…
P.S. It still is bugged on kTest (yeah, not kToS, but kTest) too
And it will probably be bugged for the rest of this game’s life, since it’s not an offensive skill.
But fear not, Leleticia and Goddess Cubes are working and any bug they will fix right away.

According to a friend, Restoration was bugged since day 1 (or so), but before rework wasn’t notice because the duration was equal to CD, but if anything reduced your CD it appeared.

Yes, it’s true. I avoided to mention that cause I thought it was just a bad “mind trick” of my own, figures out it was correct. My very first character was Paladin and I’ve always carried restoration scrolls with me just for the sake of doubling the “scaling part” efficiency of Heal
