Soo the skill does not even do what its supose to do correctly due to a bug that i dont have hopes to be fixed, and now they make it smaler?! and worse, they do this RIGHT after the e reset event, i cant say how upset i am, i have a paladin c3, they nerf the class just because people are buying too many barrier scrols?! what about my gameplay IMC !?
It isn’t a nerf, they just made paladin more useful, if you’re pala3, just buy the attribute. But anyway, they were right to do that. With that way, Paladins will shine brighter than ever now :3

Paladins still need more love, but it’s a good first step.
Actually with this change I hope they start giving Pardoners some love as well. As long as they can’t sell scrolls that are just as good as the base spell, higher level scrolls shouldn’t be so expensive to make, it really ruins the ability IMO.

Yes, it is atleast 25% wider I feel like.
New barrier scroll is only 4 character widths wide. The old barrier is 2.8~3x its diameter on guesstimation
Looks like barrier scrolls will literally do nothing by itself now. Even melee mobs will have enough range to attack whatever is in the center of the barrier.
But I guess you can have multiple party members use a scroll to cover a larger area. Either way, there still has to be a pally3(pardoner) in the first place to supply the scroll, so the source for barrier doesn’t really change. This change only adds an incentive to include a pally3 in groups, but I think it’s more likely that groups that need it will have it’s members stock up on scrolls instead.
Not sure why people are soo obsessed with barrier.
I seen plenty of party doing whiteout it. It has is use but it not like it was FORCED to have it.
Like said there still way to use scroll. Mob are kinda stupid and will try to walk into barrier in straight line, just think how to place it and yeah maybe use more than 1 now.
Barrier is indeed helpful, but the changes on the Dievdirbys’s Laima statue, stops monster’s movement at certain level, making ET much easier when protecting objectives or gathering energy. Still, barrier scroll should’ve been nerfed long ago in rank 7 days/Lolopanther days. Better late than never.
Does this include monster barriers? Just curious.
I think dievdirby’s owl statue is more like a bug though. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. I would much prefer it just slow and not stop the monsters.
barier was nerfed, before, for me it was like 1400 mdef, now its 900
