Paladin after the big update

Diev 1 is also a good choice. Heal 15 is even less essential now that mobs deal a lot lesser dmg, but it’s still nice to have.

Guardian Saint is okay but since it’s only 1 target it becomes kinda lackluster. People also won’t really bother stepping on the skill tile unless you place it on their path. Also, lasts only 18 hits (skill lv 6) and has a long cooldown.

Ok thanks I’ll go with this setup

50 CON rest STR

Should be quite good, bad thing is not having a way to prevent status ailments, well technically Cure just at lvl 1, but not that optimal lol

later on they changed back up to 50% if i’m not mistaken, together with the smite/conviction bonus that was nerfed and then put back together as how it was in the past.
they first nerfed to 30% together with the smite-conviction interaction then went back up 50% again. i will check the notes and edit this post if i’m wrong, just need time to check it out but i’m 90% sure at least.
edit:
is not even 50% is 60%
God Smash:

  • This skill’s attack speed is now affected the character’s DEX stat.
  • The additional damage dealt to targets branded with the ‘Conviction’ Debuff has been changed from 30% to 60%. check the notes from 20/04/2017

Hi

I am thinking to run thisone…

or

this one… whit anti debuff

i would say that ress is very good but i would still go for diev on paladin-inqui build, since the -20%cd help a lot with pala skills, more than resurrection since pala is better with str than dex now.
but if you insist in the use of some dex for smite-godsmash, you would still gain monstrance buff helper, so in the end the real difference is if you will go with 0 dex or not, because as 0 dex getting priest just for ress is not so good for pala i believe.

I’m recently playing a Cleric C2 > Diev > Sadhu C3 > Miko > Taoist (not R8 yet) and I got so spoiled with the Diev’s Vakarine and utility that I’ll have it too when I get the reset to change to Paladin haha, it’s so nice, getting Priest only for Ress is not that great for Paladins I think.

So, I’ve been thinking about my Paladin. The build is pretty solid with STR.

Currently, I’m running a Cle3Pal3Mon1Inq.

With this, I have:

  • Breaking Wheel with a pretty high cooldown and big damage burst.
  • Smite, Conviction, God Smash and Pear of Anguish for the damage combos.
  • Extra damage debuffs from Double Punch, Hand Knife and Conviction.
  • Double Punch as a no cooldown filler (one of the few remaining skills that have no cooldown).

So, damage-wise, it’s going really well, as expected.

However, the only thing that makes me think is Rank 3 class choice. I can either pick Cleric C3 and have Guardian Saint, that will basically negate 18 hits (with Divine Might) from someone, since the damage you take with the attributes maxed is really low. As TBL was fixed at 3v3, it should make difference. Another thing I’ve noticed is how poorly the 16 tiles Heal does without INT or SPR. They are pretty weak, people usually need to consume all of those in order to be back to full HP. Heal still scales off max HP? I feel that I was healing more before the patch.

I tried to run Diev C1 before but it feels pointless. Carve level 5 does minimal damage most of the time and the statues also don’t make a HUGE difference at level 5.

Anyone actually used Guardian Saint in TBL before?

Heal is still a 5% base health per tile heal.
But the additional healing changed to (int+spr ) x 2 ~ (int+spr) x 3.

Prior to this the additional healing only scaled with int and skill level, but with the skill level scaling gone dex/str/con builds will heal for less.

I see, thank you. No wonder it takes so much to heal up. Wish it had a bit of M. Atk on it as well.

I resetted yesterday to my now

Cleric C2 > Diev > Paladin C3 > Kabbalist > Inquisitor

And so far is the combination which I’ve found to be the most fun to me out of all the ones I’ve tested these days with the reset event, I feel more useful now just going in the middle of a room to make Barrier into Laima & Zemyna and see how my team destroys everything without getting damaged and the SP gain from Ein Sof is lovely too, I just love this char and I think this is the one I’m gonna keep as my main, plus the Inquisitor costume is top notch.

At the moment I’m lvl 277 with 50 CON and rest into STR which leaves me at 268 STR (263 invested), however I’ve noticed that God Smash, Conviction, Smite and Carve (basically the physical skills I use to do damage) have an attack speed modifier attached to them, so I suppose adding points into DEX would make them go faster, right?

So my question is, should I add any DEX to make the use of those skills any faster? or is my current stat distribution better the way it is? also what cards should I aim for that benefits my build?

Thanks a lot in advance

Smite is nerf dmg so much. I think lv15 isn’t worthwhile for 202sp(184+18).

Why the hell would they nerf anything about Paladins? They’re already one of the least played classes in the game.

Yes, dex increases their atk speed.

But it does not decrease the cooldowns of said skills, so you will only get more auto attacks out of it. Which is a very minor benefit tbh.

Least played class

Not with the Barrier scroll nerf, no.

The question is if that actually helps. So far, attributes did not work on these, but is this still the case?
Pardoner shops used not to apply attributes and stats, and right now it seems they apply both.

Skill scrolls might be the same. I have yet to hear an actual confirmation on this one.

Just a question

If you want to play with a Support Paladin is not better idea swap your Kabbalist for PD (More healer and anti debuff), what do you think? I am between Kabbalist or PD.

Thanks

I mainly use Kabbalist because of the SP Regen I can get through Ein Sof, makes it so I don’t need to waste money on SP potions and I can also use it for team mates, other than that, it doesn’t offer much.

PD on the other hand has healing factor and cc inmunity stuff, won’t deal as much dmg with Incineration I believe since we’re either full STR or some CON and rest into STR, healing factor provides a really comfortable questing time.

Overall it’s just pretty much up to your preference, Kabbalist is only for convenience while PD can provide more ways to protect allies overall, I personally so far prefer Kabbalist because my combination of classes has really high mana consumption and with Ein Sof I don’t have to use sp pots on CD.

Another option for R7 is Oracle which has Prophecy and Counter Spell to work as your cc dispellers and being inmune to Magic DMG for 30 segs basically.

I might try out with Oracle or PD with the resets on these few days, but so far Kabbalist appeals the most to be (or Oracle at 2nd, PD at last, the only thing I like about PD personally is Healing Factor, nothing else).

I just find paladin kit weird. On the 1 hand it is physical with 2 skills and and a combo with inquisitor. On the other hand it has 1 of the 2 only -% mdef debuffs in the game (right?) in [resist elements].

It is a good char that can get many fillers in R7 to complete a competitive support+off something role.

this will take sometime to kill…

Hi. What is ypur build?
