Exactly, tho discution gone wrong the instant someone called himself a non-casual player and then stating your opinion doesn’t matter since you’re supposedly a casual-player.
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Tree of Savior. The p2w is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of advanced korean most of the patches will go over a typical player’s head. There’s also Kim’s greedy outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal Ferrarri draws heavily from iToS gacha cubes, for instance. The whales understand this stuff; they have the wallet capacity to truly appreciate the chances of these cubes, to realise that they’re not just RNG- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Tree of Savior truly ARE poor- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the irony in Kim’s catchphrase “Innovate Motivate Connect,” which itself is a cryptic reference to the forums. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Kims’s genius wit unfolds itself on their computer screens. What fools… how I pity them.
And yes, by the way, i DO have a KimHakkyu tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the whiteknights’ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 postcount of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid

The problem isn’t at that part, cause I was even very ready to accept whatever his definitions for casual/non casual is. It’s not even at the part where ‘only people to do the PvP stuffs can support the game’. Rather, discussions go wrong when offering your arguments against it automatically becomes at least one of the following:
- Derailing
- Getting hurt by OP’s statement
- Angry at OP
- Enraged animal
- Login only to Saalus and Dungeon
- Misinterpreted everything OP said
- ■■■■■ (whatever this is)
And well, not to mention an extra shot at ‘leftist journalists’.
Pvp in this game is trash anyways. The awful server stability, desyncing, inconsistent coding, and skill balance.
I don’t see how you can take pvp this seriously in this game. There’s no indication of them actually working toward fixing these issues that plague the pvp scene.
Just roll with the punches and realize the pvp in this game is awful and it’s a crappy means to an end (gem feud for blessed gems, Boruta for the items)

If all you want to do is farm in this game it doesn’t make you casual, it just means you aren’t tuffboipvpgod420

I don’t think pvp in this game is casual. When the servers behave it’s actually quite involved.
At first I was shocked af when I saw the mass heal nerf and thought it was overkill, but then I started thinking about all those hours playing ToS and seeing “healers” do their job with one single spell ;
Fixing mistakes and bringing up back up from any amount of HP to full without even having to target you, and that every 15 seconds, clipped on top of defensive buffs, a revive and a resurrection, and other classes to heal, that’s not a healer nor a support, that’s just being a wheelchair.
Not even gonna mention the aids it brings in PvP.
if you buy the potions in TP shop you don’t need mass heal tho

That on top of IMC has yet to release a boss encounter that is actually threatening. Its pretty sad that the toughest bosses in this game were r8 Gesti (quest boss), and Demon Lord Rexipher currently just cause of his obnoxious sp drain.
Velcoffer was and is a joke and would have been only a slightly bigger road block if priests didn’t exist.

Looks like the OP only read the cleric part, there is a Nerf for almost all, Assas, Rogues, Scouts in general, and the best one for Cyos, sadly Braindead Force is still untouched u_u

If the korean playerbase is downing the new boss with the changes in place then clearly it’s fine and you’re overreacting.
