Overall questions

Hi,
I got few questions if someone can help me please:

  • Hidden class advancement requirements remain the same after you use the Rank Reset Voucher. ※ If you had advanced into a hidden class before the Reset and want to advance into the same hidden class after the Reset, you will need to gather the exact same conditions once again in order to advance.

I’m swordman rank6 and I wish to pick Shinobi at rank 7. Should I go Shinobi lvl job1 and reset or is it better to reset at Rank6 joblv 15 and do Shinobi quest after?

  1. I really don’t like any rank 8 class (murmillo & lancer) nor fencer and doppel c3. Is it possible to level on rank8 map for a solo player with sw3>pelt>cors3>shino build?

  2. What is the addon that add information (like health point) on monster health bar and in which folder it needs to be install?

Thanks guys

  1. I m not sure if rank 6 job 15 is safe enough as this was an uncertainty that I had. What I did was I reached rank 7 job 15, change to hoplite C1 which has a easy quest requirement and used rank reset on rank 8 job 1.

Since you will need to do the quest again, it is better to:

You don’t need to pick shinobi as rank 7 if you intended to reset. Go for something easy like swordman or hoplite (kill a mob) for your rank 7. Use the voucher reset and do the quest and pick rank 7 for shinobi

  1. 280 level mobs hit like a truck 2k > 4k on normal level 220 plate (granted there is +50% strike damage), solo-ing is a pain and they have around 300-400k hp. Again, the build you using Cors3 is kinda on the shorter end of the stick where you have no multiplier damage debuff. Well in short you can’t DPS at all.

Go at Rank 6 Class Level 15 so you don’t accidentally do the Shinobi quest twice, it’s very tedious.

You’re in for a tough fight. Soloing some content might technically be possible but it will certainly be difficult, even more difficult with your build. Shinobi currently syncs well with a Pelt-Rod-Shin-Murm build, but as you said you aren’t interested in that.

I’d encourage you to reset to, or similar to the meta builds. The game can be quite punishing if you aren’t. If you’re looking to use spears I recommend following the Hoplite-Dragoon path.

You’ll want to install this: https://github.com/Excrulon/Tree-of-Savior-Addon-Manager/releases/

It’s a very convenient addon manager. Simply download, set it to your TOS directory and install the addons you want. The one you’re specifically looking for is probably “Monster Frames”.

Thank you very much guys. I’m gonna stick to my build anyway all other paths don’t meet my expectations like not even close :stuck_out_tongue:

Good luck. With IMC’s focus on balancing I hope to see your build be as viable as all the others in the coming updates.
