[Orsha - NA] <Cyanide> now recruiting!

####Cyanide is now recruiting all active North American players for competitive endgame content!

#About us:

Cyanide is primarily a PvP/GvG guild looking to make waves on Orsha and make ourselves not only known but both feared and respected. Despite labeling ourselves PvP/GvG we do expect our members to participate in any required PvE content that will help further their personal progress and strength, whether it be endgame dungeons or material/gem grinding, we do what we must to be the best we can be. We are run by a group of experienced MMO players who have lead many successful guilds on several games in the past.

Website currently unplanned but may be coming soon if it seems necessary or desired.

#Requirements:

  1. You must be fluent in English, English being your first language is highly preferred but not required.

  2. We, as a guild, do not condone immature behavior such as kill stealing, name calling, etc. If you don’t play well with others, you don’t belong with us.

  3. We use TeamSpeak for communication. Recreational use of TeamSpeak is not required, however during any GvG or other serious endgame content you will be required to use TeamSpeak. If you are unwilling to download TeamSpeak and use it with us when required you will be removed from the guild.

#Applying:
Due to our current lack of a website there is no official application process. Simply whisper Xanthiris in-game to review it and for a possible follow-up interview and/or invitation.

Thank you for your interest and we hope to hear back from you soon!

Currently recruiting primarily only level 200+ players, though lower level players will still be considered.

High demand for 1-2 tanks, 1-2 healers, and a full cryo

In immediate need of:

1x C3 Cleric C3 Paladin X
1x Musketeer, preferably with C1 Scout but not necessary
1x C2+ Sapper
1x Full Tank

If you play any of the above, or are willing to reroll and main any of the above, regardless of level, we will consider inviting you.

Need healers and support classes.

Are you guys still recruiting ?

Recruitment is still open, yes.

Recruitment is still open to any and every English speaking player. Level requirement remains 200+ for the time being, however lower level applicants may be considered.

Also, as a note to current/joining/interested players, based on the influx of interest, inactive players, players who refuse to partake in TeamSpeak, and players who refuse to donate talt for guild growth will likely be removed to make room for new players.

Please check your direct messages.

Do I have to give my drops, if I want to hunt for a certain item, will the guild support me, I’m all for improvements, but I believe in a give and take relationship where I am helped if needed and vice versa.

Whatever you farm is yours. The guild will never take anything from you. I hope you’ve never been in a guild that requires you to give anything to the guild that you worked for and need. That’s terrible.

That being said, we do try to keep rare equipment and drops inside the guild as much as possible, so whatever you’re willing to sell or give to other members is obviously appreciated.

Good Idea, I’m interested with keeping rares to the guild.

Just a waning to anyone looking to join and as a response to the above post…

Yesterday, GM kicked a few active players and shared with us his “vision” for the guild, and how he want it to be the “best” whatever that means… and how everyone is expendable, and how pulling your own weight is defined by how much talt you donate. This caused all the good higher level players to leave the guild. He says theres a waitlist of 50+ to join the guild. But he doesn’t understand guild are supposed to be small. Quality > quanitity, however if you want to be a big guild then you don’t so do by increasing the limit very slowly with talt, you do so by creating another guild and then instead of using ingame chat you use discord or something and whenever war is declared you do so with both guilds. I don’t think he has any experience in leadership because this is how guilds turn to garbage.

In regard to the last 2 posts complaints. For xbrownish3 since the goal for the guild is to PvP/gvg their leveling progress was being done at slow to none existent pace. Due to this he was removed as it appeared that they were taking a slot with no real drive to progress. As for Rhyzoh, he and a small group of former members essentially made a sub group that was at constant odds with the leadership openly mocking efforts to get people on the guilds voice chat among other things, such as the “good players” not donating a single talt but bragging about the millions of silver they had. As this type of behaviour is in direct opposition to making a guild/community they were removed. Please take those individuals comments with a grain of salt.

“constant odds with the leadership openly mocking efforts to get people on the guilds voice chat”
I have no idea what you are referring to, never saw that happen

“no real drive to progress” … “bragging about the millions of silver they had”
Did not see this either, and these things contradict each other. Somebody with no real drive to progress would not have millions of silver

“they were removed”
Nope, only 2 or 3 were removed then another 6 or so left on their own

I don’t really care either way, I just don’t appreciate somebody saying my post is untrue and coming up with lies or exaggerating some small things may or may not have actually happened in an attempt to persuade somebody to think that it is untrue

Enjoy your guild though, good luck!
GvG is a complete joke, but I hope to see you in the battle league when it comes out

Interesting that you advocate PVP/GVG as guild goals then declare war on a PVE guild. After which you immediately lost your tower to this PVE guild… and also got spawn camped by them throughout the week when you tried to gank their low level members.

As a side note from Infinity, perhaps you guys that got kicked are better off and can now make your own PVP guild.

Just chiming in with my experience with this guild.

My friend and I were in this guild for about a week before my friend was ninja kicked from the guild to make room for someone else, I PM’d the leader and he offered to re invite him but I declined for him and then I left the guild, Why? because ninja kicking people who are offline isn’t cool.

When the guild leader Xanth said every guild member was “expendable” that was the last straw told him to ■■■■ off and left. Yes there were people on discord rather then team speak only because they liked discord over team speak because team speak was clunky to them. We all agreed we would go on team speak when gvg was happening and we were all needed to fight.

Problem was Cyanide was 24/7 in a war against a guild so on top of the Orsha server being empty we could not party with the remaining people around our level because we were at war with them for some reason.

Xanth was a cool guy until he went on this power trip the guild was fun and despite what they say those people he kicked for no reason were progressing at a high rate gear wise.

The guild chat was lively with chatter almost 24/7 even if it was an english only guild.

I would not join this guild because the leaders thought process is “everyone is expendable because the game is new” and people WILL be kicked for no reason and they WILL be kicked when you are not online even if you are active.

PS. To Eternal_Prophecy or whatever your name is IMC ■■■■■■■ blew it on a bunch of things that no other company would do and the reason I MYSELF did not go into team speak? was because of you and your passive aggressive shitty attitude towards anyone that had anything bad to say about IMC.

This post was flagged by the community and is temporarily hidden.

A clique had developed within Cyanide made up of about 5 members or so that didn’t mingle much outside themselves, rarely participated in guild chat, did not participate in guild events (though we’ve only hosted 2 official ones so that may not be the best example), donated no talt, and didn’t sign on to TeamSpeak ever.

So in this post I mentioned that TS3 use is not mandatory for recreational use, but as Eternal Prophecy said, this clique had made a discord channel and was intentionally splitting the guild in two. Now, what Slanzar said is also true, and everyone has their preference, they preferred to use Discord in their own personal time, which is fine to an extent, but as a guild we’re supposed to make new friends, not be split in two by something so small.

In a guild and game that are so new with such a small guild member capacity, everyone has to work together, make friends, synergize, etc. Anyone who’s ever made a successful guild on any game knows that it never comes together perfectly on the first try. Our guild felt like two small guilds under the same roof straight out the gate.

All the above being said, yes, we lost some really good players and I lost some pretty cool friends, but I believe it was for the better. I will continue to recruit quality players to get us back on track and back to growing, hopefully as a whole this time.

Actually those 5 people you say didn’t talk to anyone actually were the ones that kept the whole guild involved if you actually took a look at guild chat we invited almost everyone to world bosses and had two to three groups going we even had boss timers running almost 24/7.

So instead of placing blame on these “5 people” maybe take a look at yourself and what you did wrong. Yes maybe we did not go on team speak because of reasons I have already stated but it was YOU that went all kick crazy and only looked at peoples levels and talt donations instead of actually looking at the big picture. Those people you kicked were FAR more geared then any lvl 280 I have seen. There is more then one way to progress which isnt just levels would you rather gain 1 stat point per lvl? or get a gladiators band and gain 16 str, 94 crit attack and 1 AOE attack?.

You acted like people werent progressing at all but they were progressing even faster then YOU OR ETERNAL!!

BTW Eternal NEVER talks in guild chat why hasnt he been kicked? oh wait it might have something to do with him being your friend right?

You can run the guild anyway you want its your guild you leveled that templar but when you try and use my friends as an excuse as to why you went on to kick people for no reason I will defend them with all I’ve got.

Oh also threatening people you will kick them if they don’t donate talt is another shitty example of how you run your guild.
