Hello guys i cant decide what to choose between heart of glory and skull smasher. Im using int PD2 and planning to trans the weapon. I can see that heart of glory have a slight higher matk i keep on seeing people recommending skull smasher for clerics. another thing that bothers me is what happens when you trans a weapon like mace that has both matk and patk does it get the same % for both patk and matk or will get lower % matk compare to HoG thats a pure matk weapon? TY!

To play around with refine and transcend numbers to check what is the ideal weapon for you.
Edit: As you can see while using refine or trascend on the link, both physical and magic attack from Skull Smasher increases.
If it were me, I would be using skull smasher …reason is because of the amount of spr and int in it
But hey, that’s just me 
I would advocate for Skull smasher
What you do is trade power for potential utility if you chose Skull Smasher over Heart of Glory.
At trans stage 7 you have 282 less matk with Skull Smasher, but a lot more SPR to improve your SPR regeneration (78 SPR = more SP recovery than 127 SP recovery rate from HOG), 33 additional Evasion and a few extra HP.
Skull Smasher is an okish choice if you actually use physical attacks, but all in all HOG is better if you don’t need that SPR,HP or Evasion at all.
It’s also a lot cheaper in production, since it requires less and less expensive materials + the recipe is also cheaper since most Clerics go for Skull Smasher and most Wizards go either for Regard Horn Staff or Skull Smasher for the SPR.
