hi, I’ve been playing some TBL and noticed, that counterspell does cancel the current magic circles around the caster, but after the cast people can put magic circle there again, even if counterspell is active in that area.
so that means, counterspell is not doing its function properly, it should also prevent any other magic go enter there again untill the counter ends or the timer ends.
fix that as soon as possible please
This is how the skill works since forever.
And it’s maybe a bug since forever
so why there is a timer for the skill remain in the ground?
why there is a counter to number of magic denied? if that number increases why we would ever level that? no one puts that much magic circle in the ground.
if this skills works like that and IS SUPPOSED to work like that forever, that means the skill is poorly designed, since there’s no reason to the skill remain in the ground after casted.
I agree with you.
And I think a enemy counter spell suposed to remove you counter spell, but isnt
I’ve tested against shadowgaler, boss from dg 50, which has 3 magick attack moves (which cannot be blocked).
it actually worked, so I’m wondering now if it works pretty fine in PvE but in PvP is glitched, or it’s only a TBL issue.
New enemy skills can be put into the Counterspell but they won’t deal any damage.
It will remove the current magic circles (Zaibas, heals, barrier, another counterspell, etc., even things like Lethargy), and give you total immunity to magical damages, but the “remove circles” part is only when you cast it. The main description of the skill is “nullifies all magic near you”, the removing part is an extra bonus only the moment you cast it.
By “counter” I suppose you mean the part of the description saying “Targets: X” ?
Targets = players.
Any player in the party who enters counterspell receives the immunity buff, and everytime a player enters it uses 1 target.
If you have counterspell at level 1, and go in/out of it 5 times, your counterspell will disappear, even if it hasn’t been down for 30 seconds.
That’s why if you go in PvP it’s better to have it at a higher level… so people can go in and out more freely.
that makes my mind pretty much more clear, thank you very much
but still in TBL, once the enemy casts counter spell, I can cast and deal damage with zaibas against them.
it seems it got fixed on yesterday’s temporary maintenance, because this issue were happening till yesterday, I managed to test it just now
