Bug Description :
Oracle change skill is not working properly. Yes, you can change the monster but after getting a blue mob and killing it. It doesnt give any bonus exp. I invested silvers for the attribute of this skill finding out that drawing a jacpot is totally worthless…

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. use change skill (oracle)
  2. pray to get a blue mob
  3. kill it…
  4. no exp bonus given

gee, i’m sure they’ll be able to do a lot with all THAT useful info.

The title is self explanatory…

i don’t have any idea what it means, or what it refers to

so no, it actually isn’t.

as for the new information added, that makes enough sense.
however… i would imagine this is working “as intended”.

“Changes the monster in front of you to a different monster with a similar level.” meaning you will earn the same amount of exp/etc from the mob.
the point being to manipulate the type of monster, and therefore the possible loot it can drop.

alternate consideration:
did you check your exp with every kill, before an after each mob?
by the time you’re high enough rank to be an Oracle, blue mobs may still not give enough exp to provide a noticeable jump, unless you’re carefully watching your exp bar.

What really?! Damn and I wanted to make an oracle to farm with RNG changes :<

well RNG abuse is pretty much exactly what the class is built for.

Change: turn the mob into a different mob of the same level
Clairvoyance: know what the mob will drop
Resetting: CHANGE what the mob will drop.

to me it seems like you’d want to ignore change (unless your preferred mob was really rare)
you’d Clairvoyance it…
and then you’d Resetting it until it’s pre-loaded with the sweet rare drops that you want…
and then you’d Death Sentence it.

the real trick being how to stop someone else from running up and killing it while you’re standing there mucking with its probability outcomes.

Another problem is i summoned a monster that is hard to kill (level 200+ with 38k hp and 3k attack on my party) some of my party even died killing it then. No EXP after the hard work… Sadness overload

hm… i wonder if Oracle’d mobs simply do not provide exp at all?
(and if that’s the case, i wonder if that’s how it’s supposed to be…)

If a mob is changed to something overly powerful . . . like a level 70 mob with 80k+ HP, and AAs for 1k - 3k, that mob will not yield EXP.

Through experiment and time, you will get an idea of what mobs are acceptable to kill for gain, and what can be ignored.

Whether this is a bug or intended, I do not know.

However, I thought ‘Jackpot’ spawns through Oracle’s ‘Change’ could only be white. I did not know it also meant blue (and possibly gold).

yeah! you are right… is there anyone here can explain this “CHANGE” skill, i tried to look for any guide or anything about it. i want to know the mechanics of this skill. if this is useless as of now or what… im planning to reset skill because of this skill
.

yes, im also wondering how… im trying to figure it out myself… currently im 200+ oracle and upgraded this skill’s attribute… its kinda sad cause i think i waste my silver upgrading it… hahaha

If you maxed ‘Change: Winning’, you have spent around 6.5~ million silver.

You will have a 2.5% chance to ‘Change’ the enemy into a new mob with a ‘Jackpot’.

You have about a ~33% chance to spawn a super power mob that will yield no EXP or drops on death. (We do not know if this is intended or not…)

Thank you for the info now im changing my skill build lol

the problem here is that when using change skill you can call mob from the dungeons of the alchemist (Item Awakening) and that mob is strong and dont have drop or give exp
