Optimize your game already

Since you guys are into the “band-aid” type of fixes at least give us more in-game options to turn things off like all player effects/damage numbers. An option to completely turn off shout chat. Limit how many players you see on-screen at a time.

If you can’t optimize the game to run properly during boss fights, dungeons or GvG these band-aid solutions could help for now.

And the exploding death animation… You can config the number of players that appers on you screen changing the user.xml file in the files of the game.

I mean, yes they should optimize their game to be more efficient, but you act like this is a very easy overnight process.

IMC is a small company (comparatively). They are handling both publishing and development. This is a LOT of work. It will pay off for us in the long run though, as not having a middleman who can do basically nothing but set the price of cash shop items is pretty wonderful.

I’m sure they are working on it. This isn’t going to be an overnight process. It’s not like there’s a switch they can flip to optimize it. It’s going to weeks, maybe even months, with a lot of people working on it, to get this game running far more smoothly.

Yeh it’s pretty rough. I’m running a pretty nice spec’d computer and can run FF14 max specs 60 FPS. I’m running this everywhere 30-50 FPS. Definitely needs optimized

Game definitely needs optimized but it’s no overnight fix…

Optimization is probably one of the top 3 issues of the game imo, I really enjoy the game, but the constant FPS drops can really ruin the feel of the game.

I remember the waterfall/giant statue in Bellai(?) Rainforest or somewhere in that area causing massive FPS drops at one point. And trying to do world bosses with the lag is pretty terrible too.

Use your graphic card’s utility software to turn down the settings and turn off v-synch in game. I get ~140 FPS in fields alone. ~90FPS in parties.

I recorded a world boss a day or two ago and was at ~20-25FPS. Yes, that is still way too low, but it is playable given there’s a few parties spamming skills. Outside of major events like that, the game runs just fine for me, and I have a fairly average machine in terms of hardware.

AND THE NAUSEATING SCEEEN SHAKE.

Hope this option and mouse improvements will be done with next patch.

They added the Screen shake option last patch or a bit before. It’s Camera Vibration in Options.

Why do we need to turn down graphic settings on gaming rigs to get mediocre fps?

Please stop suggesting this nonsense to kill all graphic settings, just so you can have avg fps. This is just a workaround and the actual issue should be fixed.

Game is soo poor when it comes to optimization, one crowded channel will give you a migraine.

Obviously. I just chose to try and come up with some temporary solutions instead of doing nothing but whining like you. Sorry for being proactive instead of throwing a tantrum.

Those temp solutions are already floating on internet. We want a permannet solution with higher graphics and fps.
You can label it whining or anything else that would please you. IDGF.
